Nevada results rolling in now!

Your math is right, and theoretically if that happens we'll get second. But the problem is, we're not even picking up 1 vote per precinct on average, let alone 3.

So far we've gained 459 votes on Newt over 754 precincts. But yeah when you put it that way, it's hard to say it's impossible. I guess we would need some precincts that went big for Paul like we saw in the late caucus last night.

See, that doesn't seem right.. Then that would mean that Newt is "at least tied" in many of these precincts.. that just doesn't seem correct. When the tweets were rolling in, we were beating him at each precicnt, sometimes by 1, many times by 10 etc.. so not sure what the deal is here.

Wish this race for second amounted to more delegates. Regardless of the outcome, the 4 delegates for Dr. Paul, and the 4 for Gingrich will remain the same.

what? delegates are NOT proportional.

I've been trying to say this but nobody listens.

I was on the ground in Nevada and we have delegates/organization.

83.4% reporting (1502/1800)

Romney 48.6% 13,661
Gingrich 21.8% 6,117
Paul 18.8% 5,274
Santorum 10.6% 2,965

B 00 TOTAL 28422 IN 1516 OF 1800 GIN 6150 PAU 5318 ROM 13897 SAN 2991 NOV 66 (1/1)

This seems like something is up.. we are not breaking out much. This seems "lower" than the exit polling. Funny how our exit polls always under-perform while our opponents always over perform.

84.2% reporting (1516/1800)

Romney 48.9% 13,897
Gingrich 21.6% 6,150
Paul 18.7% 5,318
Santorum 10.5% 2,991

Hmm... that does sound plausible. I'm sure the only reason they have been doing all these recounts is because Grinch and Ron are nearly tied.

I think the recount is because Ron is 2nd, they wanted it to appear that Newt was 2nd when people were watching the caucus, and then make their correction during the superbowl. Tomorrow no one will be talking about it.

The delegates to the national convention are proportional this time:
http://www.thegreenpapers.com/P12/NV-R
28 National Convention delegates are proportionally bound to Presidential contenders based on today's caucus vote.
A 3.57% threshold is required in order for a contender to be allocated delegates [1 / 28 delegates = 3.57%].
For those candidates receiving 3.57% or more of the vote: The number of delegates = 28 × (candidate's popular vote) ÷ (total statewide vote).

If you have information that disputes this other than what you overheard on the ground, then provide a link.
