Nevada didn't even count my precint? WTF?

Every state should be a caucus system. In a caucus they cheat but then you can find out about it, witness this thread. In a primary they would have thrown out or changed his precinct and who would have ever known?

Secret ballot type election is a horrible system. Totally unverifiable and open to fraud.

Lets keep checkiing those results Nevada people and maybe we can prove some major fraud here just as RP supporter Mr. True did in Iowa.

Or so it would appear. But the fact is, we can't verify this.

I don't understand what you are saying. Ron Paul got 2nd in the NH GOP Primary. Ron Paul got 2nd in the NH Democratic Primary. Ron Paul got last in all of the other primaries including the SC, FL and MO primaries. Ron Paul typically does horrible in primaries outside of NH. What is it you cannot verify? This is all public record.

Agree 100%. If they were all like Maine it would be even better. Caucuses spread out over a longer period of time, plays to all of our strengths for organizing and training for a caucus, and utilizing volunteers to turn out the vote.

I'm finding a lot of primary states have a semi-caucus like process for determining the delegates, though, too -- which can blunt SOME of the effect of fraud in unaccountable primaries. NH the delegates are chosen by the campaigns, but in SC it looks like they are chosen by GOP meetings, kind of like a caucus. Same with VA, and possibly FL. Those delegates will just be bound to vote for someone else until they become unbound in a brokered convention(if one happens).

It is totally dishonest and completely untrustworthy and unfair but you make a good point. Sure, the primary system like in New Hampshire is the most fair, but the caucus system like in MN is best for Ron Paul so we should do that right? Who cares about honesty, trust or fairness? It is all about helping Ron Paul! Let's spread the corrupt MN system everywhere!

The most fair system is one what is 100% transparent and allows voting in time frames/locations that don't effect one voting demographic more than another.
Personally I'm not inclined to hold up any of the current voting system as a model that should be emulated.

+rep for the OP lets keep the grassroots focus moving ahead.

Hey i am no fan of democracy anyway so your outrage and arguments are all going to be lost on me.

But I will point out a question you beg: fair for what? Fair for whom? Fair in what way? If I am the owner of a political party, or if a bunch of us are, shouldnt we be able to run our party however we choose and select candidates in a manner pleasing to us? Would not that be the libertarian way? Why should we be forced to allow people who are not even part of our organization to dictate to us who we must support as a candidate?

Primaries are a Progressive Era reform. Like the rest of these reforms - direct senator elections, female voting, labor unions, etc. etc.,they have had a horrible effect on our political outcomes.

Can they actually do that?

If your precinct votes were lost maybe the other paperwork was lost as well. Make sure you pay the $40 fee early and most important, make sure you bring your official delegate application with you to the convention. The delegate application is the proof you need to be accepted at the county convention.
