The 6th District Convention will be held April 10th at Rockingham Community College Whitcomb Student Center, Wentworth, NC. The time will be as follows.

6:00pm-7:00pm: registration

7:00pm: meeting begins

The registration fee is $15. Checks are to be made out to the 6th District Republican Party.

RSVP (not required but asked for) to [email protected] or by calling 828-488-2842. There is a suggested donation of $5 for the convention, but no required fee. Mr. Sawyer asks that you also tell him whether or not you will be attending the luncheon afterwards (BBQ--$15).

Info for 8th district:

The 8th District Republican Party will be hold its Annual Convention on Saturday morning, 21 April 2012, in the Stanly County Commons County Commissioners' meeting room, in Albemarle. Registration will open at 9:00 AM and the convention will be gaveled to order at 10:00 AM. A $10.00 donation will be requested of each properly credentialed delegate attending the convention, but this is not required to be seated as a delegate. Stanly Commons is located at 1000 North First Street in Albemarle, across from the Stanly Medical Center.
