'Nazi Grandma,' sentenced for denying Holocaust, goes to prison

You forgot the Armenian Genocide (or did you?) (Cenk Uygar)

Stefan Molyneux, Cenk Uygar, not much difference between the 2. One carries water for the R side of the political party, the other carries water for the L side. Both would never make the "The truth about the holocaust" video.

If anyone hasn't heard Stefan's argument to dismiss inquiry into the Holocaust, this is it. It boils down to this and I kid you not "facts about history doesn't matter, only principles matter". That must be why he made a "fact" based historical review of slavery and Native American genocide

You don't?

The Holocaust isn't like God or the moon landing, it's not something that you "believe" in.

It's something that you know.

I won't discuss this matter further... I don't associate myself with anti-semite bigots.

The next question is this, what do you think is the holocaust and why have you come to believe it happened?

The evidence available points to it.

and why do u think it is the only historical event that one isn't allowed to question?

I don't. I thought it was stupid that she was jailed for her opinion.

You can deny the Native American genocide(see Stefan Molyneux) or slavery or the story of the bible and still nothing will happen to you. But if you deny the question the holocaust in most European countries(even in Russia), you get thrown in prison

Exactly. I had no problem with her questioning anything. I disagree with her but I happen to think the people throwing her in jail for her beliefs are truly dangerous. Maybe you misunderstood what I meant by my comment.

You clearly don't understand how dangerous it is to allow people like her speak.

Evidence of what? Can u explain to me what the Jewish holocaust means to you. I ask because I have a feeling its not the same as the real definition of the work.

Is that a typo? Did you mean to type word? Just asking to make sure I understand what you're asking.

It's my understanding the word holocaust probably isn't the best word but it's the common word and the word I use.

Honestly, I don't have it in me to debate right now but if you post me a link I'll read it and respond.

I meant to say word and I promise, I would stop bothering you once you tell me what the word Holocaust means in relation to the WWII atrocities. Essentially, all I want to know is which of the 2 definitions below closely matches up to your definition.

A) The death of millions of Jewish people at the hand of Nazi German govt during their stay in concentration camps.
B) The Holocaust was the systematic, bureaucratic, state-sponsored persecution and murder of millions of Jewish people (for the sake of argument 3m up to 6m). This definition involves the use of a network of gas chambers and cremation ovens to achieve this goal.

Which of those 2 definitions is closest to your understanding of the word and your answer is option B and you feel inclined, what evidence do you have to support it? Your definition is the most important question, the evidence is just icing on the cake.

I believe you. I make those tyos all the time, that's why I asked and it's no bother I'm just not feeling great today and I'm eating.:)

A bit of both, really. I believe it was mostly A but there were a few death camps in Poland (I think:o) that would certainly qualify for answering B. I guess my answer falls mostly to A with a few exceptions. When it comes to the exceptions, it's my suspicion that only the people involved and their superiors knew exactly what was going on there. That's my very limited take on what happened with knowledge I've picked up watching documentaries.

Ya I hate to break it to you but that totally qualifies as Holocaust Denier in the colloquial sense. I have no idea what the extent of anything was 40 years before I was born, my guess is as good as yours.
