Also as far as celebrities speaking/appearing...

Drew Carey is a libertarian and donated to Ron's campaign.

Also what about Nolan Ryan, the pitching legend!! He campaigned on behalf of Dr. Paul in Texas in the mid-90's!

So did: Barry Manilow!

I could get a lot of DJ's to come and play... Dubstep, Reggae, Jumpup, Ska, Breakbeats... all against war in all forms. Not crazy activists, but a very chill crowd.

Also, perhaps we could get John Mayer to come and play.... have the campaign get ahold of him. gogo!

In addition to LIVE music acts - We need to have jumbo video screens with a first rate sound system playing the "Best Of" You Tube Music Videos.

We proved that we can raise millions of dollars. We can easily be able to pick up huge acts with our powerful grassroots. What do you guys think about an idea like this with a diversified cast of musical talents. We should definitely bring in some Ron Paul bands that have been here all the way and also bring in huge acts that have supported Paul as headliners such as John Mayer and Foo Fighters.

The way this lineup is perfect because it translates a distinct fusion of different musical interests and enough for any musical fan to get enough interest of their respective genres.

The idea here is that these bands can really bring in tons of people and make our movement much bigger. Once people here Dr. Paul's message which will resonate with a broad base of musical supporters it can really make the message more powerful then ever.

This NEEDS to be bigger then a Ron Paul March it needs to translate into a real movement and to bring in people who have never heard of him. Music is a universal language and this is probably the best way we can capture what our generation has missed and was vital in the 60s'. We can forever change the face of our music/political schematics if we show that their is still a voice left!

You've got the right idea. Check out my thread or the reply about Coachella. That is perfect for a unique crowd of people.

We need a diversified lineup - Rock, Electronic Music, Chill, Pop like John Mayer, maybe even some patriotic country.

Important to be able to pick up a unique demographic of young and older folks and not to alienate as well.
