I think the real problem is that we are no longer allowed to call these people mentally ill. We now have to call them transgender and affirm there illness not treat it. Very often the gender dysphoria is just one of their problems coexisting with violent tendencies and a host of other issues. But because of the transgender label, they are handled with kid gloves. In the past a person with a clear cut mental illness would be restricted from owning firearms.
Now we have the Lt Governor of Minnesota wearing a shirt with a knife on it promoting violence by transgender (mentally ill) people. That sure came back to bite her in the ass didn't it?

This is a wakeup-call for skeptics/unbelievers. If you don't see that this is spiritual warfare, you are flying blind. You cannot even begin to imagine what is coming next. World War Z will look like Utopia by comparison. We are staring down the barrel of the Book of Revelation.
Wake up!
"Death before detransition" is the most first-world problem statement ever.
When the trust-fund money dries up, good luck paying for all that HRT (ongoing cost, as the body never actually "transitions"). We're only ever one bad global harvest away from forced, universal detransition of all these maniacs...
A monthly supply of common feminizing hormones — including estrogen and anti-androgens — can cost patients up to $115, according to GoodRx, which tracks U.S. drug prices. Masculinizing hormones, including injectable testosterone, are typically cheaper, costing about $40 to $90 a month. Through unregulated online pharmacies, however, a monthly supply of these feminizing and masculinizing hormones can be purchased for as low as $8, plus shipping.
