As tragic as the shooting was, part of me can't help but to suspect some foul play in that incident. The killer takes time to write messages against Israel and Jews on his weapons/ammo, but instead of opening fire on a synagogue in Minneapolis, he decides to shoot children in a Roman Catholic school, instead?

We have a decades long, bloody, list of the drugs, the mental deficiencies held up as "stunning and brave", the coddling, double talk bullshit that we are told we must, by law, go along with, surrounding mass shooters.

It is already against federal law to knowingly acquire a firearm if you are a mental defective.

You have a point and I agree. Transgender is a mental illness. But it's not black and white. There are harmless weird old dudes in a dress and dangerous 20 year olds pumped full of hormones and SSRI drugs. Our mental health system is so fucked in this country we aren't allowed to distinguish between the two. We have to celebrate and affirm both. That isn't right.

It turns out that it wasn’t an accident that attack in Minneapolis occurred at a gun-free zone. The murderer’s manifesto makes it clear that he purposely picked a gun-free zone. The murderer wrote his manifesto in Russian, but here is the relevant translation.

“I recently heard a rumor that James Holmes, the Aurora theater shooter, may have chosen venues that were ‘gun-free zones.’ I would probably aim the same way . . . That’s why I and many others like schools so much. At least for me, I am focused on them. Adam Lanza is my reason.”

On the same page, the murderer makes a common argument by those on the political right: “criminals with intentions are not going to follow rules!” As he points out, gun-free zones are a magnet for these attacks.
