He didn't increase it, Congress did.
And he didn't have 8 years either.

He signed legislation that blew up the debt. More than once. He was so proud of the COVID helicopter money he wanted his name on the checks. I do not believe he did it out of malice but it was the biggest fiscal disaster ever and it kicked off this terrible inflation. He doesn't care about debt and loves spending money. Those are facts so don't make excuses for him. Will he be any smarter a second time around? I dunno but he's all we've got.

Milei has better conditions than Trump had and I am not one of those attacking him yet, I'm just keeping my eye on things like that Cap and Trade system he put in his omnibus law.
We will see what Milei does going forward, he could get better and better, or he could crash and burn and become a net negative if he keeps doing things like Cap and Trade or worse.
