Mike Pence now the "conservative's" choice.

Meh. It seems like every one of these Republicans goes through a phase. Looking back, it seems like everyone's been pushed to the forefront at some point or another. I think ultimately it always ends up being the guy/gal whose fifteen minutes of fame falls right around primary time who wins the nomination.

Aside:
Georgia boy's political biography matches mine.

FreedomWorks.com will be and is used to elect candidates that do not support true freedom (which goes hand in hand with liberty and small gov)

Ever spent anytime connectiing the dots to all these PACs and Orgs? I goes back to the same place with the same officiers and board members across all these PAC, ORGS, think tanks, FRONTS. Resistnet and Patriot Action Network is one of many fronts and the most co-opted by the NEOCONS and Washington DC money. Poor little local Tea Party org's don't have a clue how they are being played, socially engineered.

One of the most interesting items I found out about this whole Right/Tea Party Neocons VS. the left progressive/liberal/socialistic/etc... some of the same Money masters are on both sides of the street. The Gazillionaire Pritzker family out of Chicago funnel huge cash to both sides a lot of money funneled to PNAC/Freedomworks/PAN/etc... it's amazing how few know the way this political game is played. BTW, the Pritzker family bankrolled Obama's campaign and fund raising to the POTUS.

It makes me almost nauseous to say this but I think I'd soon vote for Obama before Pence and hope that the GOP kept the House and took the Senate and just had a stalemate as to vote for Pence.

I'd vote third Party or not vote.

It's too bad that Pence is so bad on foreign policy issues, because he's really good on domestic spending issues. He was one of the few Republicans in the house to vote against No Child Left Behind, the Medicare Prescription Drug Bill, and TARP. But his view on nation building overseas is a deal breaker for me.
