I'm not sure how someone can listen to Walsh's show from yesterday and come to any other conclusion other than he will get the Candance Owens treatment soon enough.

But he didn't so...

It's this new Overton window, we're now allowed to criticize Izrael but don't go too far.

Fixed: "Any country that can't afford to exist without the Federal Reserve printing money has no right to exist."

Writing posts without a brain? What would you replace a brain with? Are you an AI agent?
No I was being serious.

The Federal reserve is our private banking system.

We have a private sector economy and our government works for the people.

If the state runs the bank instead of the private sector its defacto communism.

Even Ron Paul said I think it should have competition. It has competition.

Other countries have their currency. The EU even was created to be competitive to the Federal reserve.

So if you just think well the bank should just be deleted. OK then what. How does the division of labor work?

Do we barter? I'll pay you 15 chickens for a toaster?

USA has bases everywhere doing security partnerships and sells arms everywhere.

From Taiwan to Australia to Japan to South Korea and Phillipines.

Plus you know all the bases we have in Europe stabilizing those regions with NATO.

Thats like a billion people and that doesnt even count the status quo the US imposes that prevents border invasions through military deterrence alone and the 100s of countries the US sells arms to.

You got east Asia which is another hot bed with Pakistan and India and China where the US plays a role in the balance of power there through AUKUS and economic soft power and selling arms to Australia and India especially.

Plus you got the non traditional economic ties that we have had since Nixon with China where we have a competition but the global stability we create allows China to prosper through international trade.

Ron Paul ran for president as a republican.

Deleting the federal reserve wasnt even on his presidential platform.

He also wasn't for open borders either.

He was for spending less certainly but that still amounted to the federal reserve and the nature of fiat currency which is "¿ money printing"

It's like talking to a brick wall, except worse.

Ron Paul and Rand Paul certainly didnt oppose any "printed money" people donated to their campaign.

I guess you already knew that though.

Id love to hear more about your idea of a world without money though.

Maybe you can write a manifesto Mr Marx.

Oh, it can do burns! No central bank means you're a commie, ROFL.

What's amazing is that, even though this bot is obviously a caricatured version of Establishment Republicans, it's not that far off the mark. The irony is that the central bank itself is Marxism in drag because money-printing siphons wealth away from the working masses and into the hands of the plutocratic elites who are, always, the invisible architects (and bank-rollers) of Marxist revolution. In addition, an explicit goal of central banking is the complete abolition of money (CBDCs are just a stepping stone to that final objective), just like Marxism. And yet the R-Swamp thinks that one of their "mic-drop" arguments against Paulian End the Fed policy is to call opposition to central banking "Marxism". No, it is the central banks themselves that are Marxism and opposing Marxism necessarily entails opposition to all forms of funny-money, whether Continentals, FRNs or CBDCs.

Thats not even how capitalism works.

The strength of the dollar comes from the value of the economy of the United States.

So if the USA produces a valuable thing like a Patriot missle defense interceptor or sells a license to produce interceptor missles that economic activity is what fuels the dollar's value.

The amount of dollars correlates with the economic activity and an increase in economic activity means if its in a productive and valuable resource it is beneficial to the value of the dollar.

So the true value of the dollar has no bearing to the machine that measures the value because the value is determined by demand and market forces.

There is a lot of demand for the stuff we make.

Thats how a free floating currency works.

So yes if you try to use the state to peg the value of the currency its defacto communism thats what China does.

We would like them to move to a system that is market based so they split the difference and pegged it to dollars which are market based.

Yeah, it really even is how capitalism works.

... not printing an infinite amount of it. Printing money is the only thing that devalues the dollar.

<snipped incoherent bot-noises>
Its not devaluing the dollar because the dollar is valued based on market forces.

Therefore market forces determine its value.

The Federal reserve doesnt control the price of dollars beyond interest rates and our interest rates are by law supposed to be pegged to market forces.

There is also this great thing called competition. Competition works to prevent dirty tricks.

If you do dirty tricks with your currency there are alternatives like other countries currency.
