Massie endorses DeSantis for President

Thomas is better than Ron because not only does he maintain his ideological integrity like Ron, but he is also a lot more functional and effective than Ron ever was. Thomas is a fighter and knows how and is willing to make maneuvers that Ron never would. It's really a personality difference more than anything. But it makes it so that Thomas is getting a lot more done for the cause than Ron did, even if those benefits tend to be behind the scenes.

Without Ron, there wouldn't have been a Thomas. There probably wouldn't have been a Matt, either.

LOL

I don't really get it. Neither situation should lead to jail.

Does anyone else but me remember not long ago the congressional slush fund, filled with OUR money, that was used by Congress to pay off people who accused them of a sexual misdeed? Besides being assured it was ended. (yeah, I believe that...NOT), why weren't the people who started this little wing ding, which included STEALING our money, prosecuted to the fullest. Yeah, yeah, I know... some piggies are more equal than others. So sick of this shit.

A Matt Collins, either, involved in political consulting. Don't forget, I have been a member here as long as you have. :)

Bottom line. Give Ron his due.
Oh absolutely he changed the world, no doubt. But he just wasn't very effective as a member of Congress, especially when compared to Thomas.

Yes, I wondered the same. But, it is also possible that he did it because it was the right thing to do. Dropping the covid restrictions, that is. It rather makes me sick to my stomach when politicians do the apparent obligatory visit to the wailing wall and do a photo op.

It is my strong belief, that I came to after one hell of a lot of study, that no one at the top of either main ticket is there without having been pre-selected and approved by the top of the global elite. Honestly, I had given up on presidential politics a long time ago, until Ron Paul ran. I thought it was too far gone to save. But, I thought with Ron, maybe, just maybe, a miracle would occur and we might have a chance. We gave it our best, but we all know how that turned out. I had hoped with Trump, that because of his name-recognition, that there was a small glimmer of hope with Trump. Albeit, he was not a wart on RP's toe; at least I hoped he wouldn't make it worse than it already was, which would have been the case with anyone else. Given that Rand shot his own foot numerous times when he ran. Sadly.

At this point, I am ready for Texas to secede. I doubt they ever will, but I don't think we stand one chance in hell of saving anything from the federal level. It is far, far too far gone, in my opinion. So back to DeSantis. He has been a very good governor of Florida. But, my spidey senses are up. His voting record in the Senate was not very good and was heading worse every year. From what I have seen, the Bush family is behind him.... I haven't made my mind up yet. Not nearly. But, I also am not foolish enough to believe he is going to turn anything around. I would place my bets that he has already sold his soul. But, lets see how things progress.

DS's record also went sharply down when Republicans had a majority and the white house.
It's easy to run up a good score opposing things that the opposition is going to pass anyway.

DeSantis and RFK Jr. have both denounced digital currencies.

Trump? crickets.

Gee, it's almost like when Trump said he opposed globalization then later signed the North America Union treaty.

You mean when he changed NAFTA to have a sunset provision and better terms for America after getting us out of the TPP?

I admire your dedication to your spin talking points. They are always consistent. He signed the NAU, that was my only assertion and it is accurate.

Massie is great and all, but he is deeply infected with TDS. He would happily endorse George W. Bush if he was running against Trump.

Massie has met and dealt with Trump.

I assume you have not. So I reserve the right to make my own judgement about who is and isn't deranged.

He would happily endorse George W. Bush if he was running against Trump.

Isn't it bad enough that we have to deal with people wandering around in Trump's head telling us what's going on in there, and where it's going tomorrow?

Trump has lots of other things on his mind but he will oppose it too.

Do we really need people claiming to read Massie's mind too?

Can't we let these people make their own campaign promises, and not keep them? Why are you two making campaign promises for someone you've never met?

Massie is great and all, but... But nothing. Got news for you dinosaurs. What constitutes derangement is a matter of consensus. Now that people cucking for Trump are a decided minority, it's officially his die hard fans who are deranged.

You do realize that Trump endorsed Desantis previously? So does Trump have TDS?
