Massachusetts caucus today

abwrp2012 has CD-6 sounding like its going 2/3 or 3/3

the tally is up to 16 or 17 possible Tampa delegates now.

congressional district nine the new version is plymouth and the cape.
expect this to be doctor ron paul turf. eight and four the new versions
are right next to each other and our turnpike cuts thru them. they are
on the same side as boston is in terms of 128 doing a big semi-circle
on a map. they may go to barack obama in november if i am to guess.

I'm glad the other districts had more success, it certainly brighten my hope for the future of the republican party.

newton is where barney frank's congressional office is and it is at the core of FOUR.

Niki Tsongas's new district, the THIRD went to Ron Paul.
all the districts have a Democrat in D.C. who had to look
at the gerrymandering before deciding to run once again.

I can confirm abwrp2012's statements.

I was there at the Caucus for CD-6 in Lynnfield... this is essentially the whole of the North Shore - which is a *very* coveted district. It's allegedly the MA GOP all-star team.

There were 236 people there, which they said is more people than they've seen in 30 years. Lot of Paul supporters (you knew as soon as the 'Liberty Slate' people were being nominated - there was an *overwhelming* amount of 'Seconded's. hahah)!

The establishment here seems to have had a pretty good idea that something was up... ;)

But yeah - The Ron Paul people ended up taking *5* out of the *6* delegate slots! We took all 3 Alternates, and 2 out of 3 Delegates!

The Delegates were *very* close, within only literally 1-2 votes! I'm very glad that that I was able to get my buddy and I to this, otherwise we may have lost at least one delegate to the convention. I had a few people that I tried to get to go, but they busted out at the last minute. Bastards.

If we had only a couple more people with us - we would have absolutely *swept* the convention.

There were some pretty big names there, too. Charlie Baker, Tisei, Kerry Healy, among others. Baker (former nominee to challenge Deval Patrick to the governorship of MA last election) and Healy (former Lt governor) both ran to be delegates - and both lost to Ron Paul people!

Awesome. :)

I was at my first ever caucus, it was awesome! 194 registered republicans showed up as well as 4 provisional voters.

Sorry about the big pics, slide the bar at the bottom of my post to the right to see the other side or right click and open in new tab/page to see the whole pic.

I left after I submitted my ballot for the alternates, but I heard we swept those as well. I had my 91 year old Grandmother-in-law come with me to double my vote.

Things went so well, that as we were leaving, a Romney lady was pointing at us (Ron Paul supporters) and saying "I HATE THEM! I HATE YOU! YOU ARE RUINING THE REPUBLICAN PARTY!"

HAHAHA, no joke.

they ruined it, we are the cure. AT least we don't want their idiot power over people. we just want the system run fairly. We don't boot out party people where they are fair, so far as I am aware.
