March on Washington July 4?

Myself along with several of my friends may go whether or not there is an organized march. Who knows... with a handfull of us we may see a spontaneous uprising!

The operative word is WILL.

We need not speculate about spontaneous anythings, or they wouldn't be spontaneous. Nothing will happen if we stay at home, THAT'S a sure bet.

I know how this sounds to some people... but are we, like the generation before us, going to stand down and let the next generation deal with all of this? By that time, will they have the liberties that we all have at their disposal to combat tyrany?? If you are willing to take that chance then, by all means sit at home and do nothing. I didn't come here today to stir the pot. I just noticed that no one else had been doing it.

I think we should try and force our way into the Oval Office! I mean, everyone marches on Washington.

Breaking and entering has long been held by civilized peoples to be a punishable crime.

BLOCKADES, on the other hand, fall under STRATEGERY.

We are the Good Guys, so we don't say "All's fair in love and war." We GET it, that Torture is out-of-bounds. We aren't ignorant looters who would destroy our own national resources.

This is about CLEANING house.

They don't allow open carry in DC do they? It would be nice if we could all go armed.

They DO, however, allow Lying, Cheating, Stealing, Taxation Without Representation, Legislated Oppression, Incarceration Incorporated and War Profiteering.

It would be nice if it weren't necessary to have this show-down. But as it IS, the People will want to demonstrate STRENGTH and FEARLESSNESS. Intuitively, if one "side" is armed and the other is not, well, you DO see the problem.

Marches in Washington DC don't get any media attention, unfortunately.

It will if all those idle big rigs rumble into town. You know, the ones that belong to all the independent truckers who were forced out of business when gas was up at $4.50 per gallon. Truckers are very patriotic, and they have the BEST grapevine.

look... I know everyone is mad enough to go there armed, but.... Let them draw first blood in full view of the worlds eye! We won't need guns!

They have already DRAWN first blood, and second, and third, and fourth and on and on and it is ALWAYS in full view of the world.

The full world has just given its blessing to Corruption As Usual, so long as they get a bigger share of the pie.

But if we sit and do nothing and wait for 2010 or 2012 we wont HAVE guns! we must do something NOW. I know most of you can feel it in your gut every day! I CAN. I'm going... I hope you all will too. I will be armed with copies of the Obama Deception and pocket constitutions. If that makes me a terrorist... well I guess that I just have to take that chance.

Why not go to New York and protest at the Federal Reserve there? You could probably get a big group of locals and get some media attention in the biggest city of the US.

Because most people don't understand the Fed or indeed banking. They know they're getting screwed, but they aren't conversant in finance. It's hard to work up a good head of steam and SUSTAIN it, when you don't have a handle on what you're talking about.

Besides, the Fed is symptomatic. The devilry is EVERYWHERE evident, but it is centered in Washington DC and not a few state capitols. Like Sacramento, by way of example.

CORRUPTION IN OFFICE, that is the common thread. Also stupidity and inefficiency.

I know the general sentament is that marches don't do anything... well I for one would love to hear a better idea! I know it takes time to get people fired up but I guess I expected more outrage over what is being done.

We are PAST DUE. We are in AREARS. Like Washington.

I'm still going. I will be at the monument (same place we met to march for RP last year) as close to lunch as I can make it. It's an 20+ hour drive from here... if i didn't mind showing up naked on a screen at the airport I would fly. Don't forget the tea parties April 15th!

I am hoping we will pick up some steam at the tea parties (pun completely intentional). But we should not count on that exposure alone. Call your favorite talk radio programs. Call Beck... call your local stations morning talk shows... just mention that there is a march on washington brewing (again with the tea puns LOL).

Let us invite our alleged Representatives to meet us there.

Let every major municipality send a contingent of their Homeless, with placards reading:

Maybe I just can't find another thread in here on this, but after searching for a while I just decided to start one.
Is anyone planing to march on Washington July 4th? If not... why? Shouldn't the people of this movement want something like that? We did it once, let's do it again... only this time it's not so much about Ron Paul so let's reach out to other organizations with similar sentement. I know there will be milions there for the fireworks. We discussed that last year. BUT... milions there to see fireworks could be milions educated about the meaning of July 4th! A portion of them may join our ranks! I see planing on this forum for 2010... I don't think we have that kind of time! The article that inspired me to come here and bring this up was on WND March 10th.

wouldn't it be great if there was a massive march in every city? Chicago is a LOT closer to me... but I tend to think that it will be hard to get the numbers we need to show in DC so I would just encourage everyone to commit to the largest demonstration we can muster up... I would LOVE to see HUGE marches in every capitol city in the US... I think these tea parties are going to be pretty big... what we need is to have these groups merge and decend on DC in July.

Ok, obviously, in a sane country... we would have the right to peacefully do this.

The scary part with our out of control Government, is they could possibly fire upon us...

Now - if there were 1 Million people there, and 1 Million people were killed... I think that would start a serious revolution and our deaths would not be in vain. BUT. What happens if a million people don't show? What are the rough estimates right now? I mean what's REALISTIC..?

I personally think if we were to pull this off we should have 5 or 10 million, just to compensate for the growth in population since Martin Luther King's day and age.

So we have the option of going armed... possibly getting shot/tear gassed/perceived as a violent force (also, how do we account for every person acting peacefully and most importantly CALMLY?)... despite any claim of peaceful existence.

On the other hand, we could go WITHOUT magazines/ammo... that way, it would at least be half as "illegal" (really, Constitutional). This could be reasonably pulled off with no risk of violence (on our part). If they still gassed/shot us or anything similar, I would imagine that would look bad as we are essentially harmless. No ammo, no chance of injury.

And that could give us time to maybe get more people aware of what's happening. And then by April 19th of 2010, we might have ourselves an even stronger force.




Personally, I think Texas should secede NOW, get the hell out of this mess... and hopefully other states as well... and then we all live our lives in peace. A lot of people are saying "we don't need Texas, anyway..." so, yea.

Just things to consider everyone.
I would go if it were big enough.
I think going w/o ammo could be peaceful but still show a presence of potential force.


Be careful Patriots. We need to be very scrupulous with the moves we make.

I cannot imagine that it is very difficult for people with loaded guns to TAKE arms from people with unloaded guns.

I CAN imagine, even with little planning and advertisement, that an awesome number of Americans would be drawn like a magnet to NO CONFIDENCE assemblies not just in the nation's capitol but every state capitol, and the Federal Building in every major city.
