FBI, SWAT, ongoing.
The crime: "picked up a large canister of pepper spray that had landed near him and pointed it toward the cops"
NY Post Nov. 8, 2023, 6:09 p.m. ET

The feds are reportedly hunting for a former member of the New Jersey National Guard who allegedly tried to pepper spray cops and protesters during the Capitol riots on Jan. 6, 2021.

During the near-insurrection, Gregory Yetman, 46, was filmed picking up a large canister of pepper spray that had landed near him and pointing it toward the cops trying to protect the besieged Capitol building, according to USA Today.

The FBI posted Yetman’s picture on their most wanted list, and said he was accused of assault on a federal officer, the outlet said.

Yetman — who was a military police sergeant in the Garden State’s national guard at the time told USA Today earlier this year that he’d been at the Capitol that day, but didn’t commit any crimes.

He told the FBI the same thing after the riot, the outlet said. And he hadn’t heard from the bureau or its agents since then.

“Everything’s been resolved, everything’s good,” he said in early 2023, about two years after he and other fanatical supporters of former President Donald Trump stormed and trashed the Capitol after the Florida man’s 2020 election loss.

But now the feds — along with local and county law enforcement - are hunting for him in Middlesex County, the outlet said.

The search began around 9 a.m. Wednesday on Main Street in Helmetta, a tiny town about a half-hour northeast of the state capital of Trenton, according to CBS News.

Law enforcement was looking to pick him up on a warrant, CBS said.

But Yetman took off, and bounded into the woods

So nowadays, what amounts to, AT WORST, misdemeanor “assault,” gets one on the FBI’s Top Ten Most Wanted List?

I give you America’s most prestigious law enforcement organization.

He used one of their own munitions against them. He's too smart to live.

And since when is a tear gas round called a "canister of pepper spray"?

It was an expended tear gas ROUND? How the fuck does one “point” an expended tear gas round at anyone?

I don't know what it was. A canister pouring out pepper spray, they say. If it wasn't a fresh tear gas round, I don't know what that fuzzy terminology means.

Any way you slice it, the man is mucho hombre. And should have found his way to Mexico long ago. They still appreciate real men down there.

The local piggy pigs were there too to join in on the fun of ruining someone’s life. If they had any integrity they would have told the feds to get lost.

So the system spends millions, to send an army of cops hut hutting onto people's property and destroying it, in search of one white man charged with a misdemeanor.

But the border is wide open.

And roughly half of all murder cases go unsolved.

Pffft...sounds about right...wait until you see what they have planned for us, once they have banned guns.

Yetman Day 2 - Believe he's still in the area

Helmetta is a small, ordinary town of 3,200 people with no traffic lights - "less than one square mile". Apparently uses the Jamesburg PD (or at least, that's who's involved in the hunt).

Yesterday, their Mayor Christopher Slavicek, stated that Gregory Yetman was known in the community and suggested he was not a dangerous person. (I’m unable to find that quote this morning.) Slavicek said he was last seen scaling a fence.

I’m surprised the guy is still not found - must’ve ditched all his electronics.

Local news12 VIDEO (1:34) from this morning (11/9) shows the area and where they think he must be. Scroll down, it's the 2nd video on the page. (See link. I don’t know how to embed a link from non-youtube - can't determine proper URL. Can it be done?)

Can’t imagine how this will play out.
Will they kill this guy?!

NBC posted the following photo of Gregory Yetman appearing to spray a large canister.

“Hopped a fence, ran towards train tracks”

(from CBS)
DAY 2 Video (1:41)
“Hopped a fence and ran towards train tracks in a heavily wooded area”
Mayor: “There was no threat to the community”
Also mentioned; Command Post, Armed FBI members in camo, members of the Joint Terrorism Task Force, search dogs

:) Ahhh, the old train tracks through the woods. Wonder if a train still runs on those tracks? People today probably don’t know how easy it is to hop a freight train.

Hopping the train is the dumbest thing you could do.
They know all the times and destinations and all that. You want to go far away from the tracks
those tracks and stops will be the first place they snoop.

Trains take a mile to stop, even when ordered to stop shorter by power mad LEOs who think not even the laws of physics apply to them. And they're as easy to get off of as onto.

It's most likely a freight train track. You can hop on and off anywhere you choose - no need to wait for it to stop.
