Libertarian Party 2024 POTUS/VP ticket: Chase Oliver & Mike ter Maat

Trump doesn't best represent me, I won't be voting for him, I am like you I won't be voting at all.

At least we won't be complicit ;-)

BUT I see the true political landscape in America, right now America has the choice between a drunken monkey that gets 50% of the things done that people want, and maybe couple more good supreme court judges, or the utter insane garbage of the left and a senile leader with super leftist activists judges on the supreme.

A few good little bones [if they even are] will never overcome the many, many horrendous ones. Debt is the number one enemy with many contributing factors. Flavors of "D" [left-jack-boot] and "R" [right-jack-boot] don't matter on a sinking ship -- other than the fact that the right hand feeds the left which feeds the right.

I can see what Americans will pick, and why.

Cradle-to-Grave, in one form or another; they are statists.

Have you seen this?

What is a person's previous voting record indicative of?
In 2016 you did not vote for Trump. Hillary was his opponent.
Who did you vote for in 2016?

What was so spectacular about Trumps Presidency that you became such a staunch supporter?

If your past voting record doesn't mean anything, why would anyone else's?

Wasn't Trump a Democrat for many years?

I think the nominee is a terrible choice but, I am not the one bringing up a person's voting history as if it means something. If it means something for one person it means something for every person.

Seriously since you did not support Trump in 16, what was it that made you such a diehard Trumpster?

I wrote in Ron Paul in 2016.
I have devoted many posts over the years here to all the unexpected good things Trump did and he did not do many of the things his past statements indicated he might.

I didn't vote for Trump in 2016 and I have the posts here to prove it.
I won't be voting for this clown and neither should anyone else, his record is much worse than Trump's prepolitical record.

The Libertarians just nominated Chase Oliver, who has PUBLICLY called for:

Transing children
Mask & Vax mandates
Men in women’s sports
Open borders

And that’s just what he’s been calling for under Biden

What a joke. This guy’s not getting anywhere CLOSE to 3%

Not that I don't trust you... well, I don't :p But can you please post On The Record pertaining to the bold? Because if that's the actual case, I'll give you a neat little star to hang on your fridge :tears:

Oh, and I don't care to discuss the already hermetically-sealed closed border issue with you. So there.

Yeah yeah, closet fascist-lib. Anyway...

Can you please post On The Record pertaining to the bold, because seriously, that is alarming. If not, I'll try to do it myself after a little rest.

Thanks, but on a serious note, I don't like screenshots unless it is backed up with facts [the same way that I do for Trump's pathetic record]. If what is stated is true, it is very alarming... I'll even give you a + Rep ;-)

There are only good faith positions on one side of the abortion debate.

Moreover, on the pragmatic side, I would think big-brain political types would be able to see that the overturning of Roe is really the only reason Trump is going to collect the votes to sail back into the office (provided enough vote fraud can be prevented) in direct contravention of literally everything else the man did while in office, as pretty much everything else besides his SCOTUS nominees was in direct opposition of what pro-live voters want. How anyone would think national decriminalization of abortion is in the same solar system as a winning position is quite beyond me.

I think we can safely say at this point the LP will never nominate another Ron Paul or Harry Browne. They lost their soul and have no intention of ever getting it back.

Sadly seems like the case.

Dope, sodomy and foreign invasions are not a winning combination.

Who do you think Rand Paul will vote for?

I honestly think he's going to vote for Kennedy, because I honestly think he really, really doesn't like the CIA.

Where's the logic in, oh, your third party nominated a complete turkey so now there's no such thing as an independent candidate at all?

Trump started funding drag queen story hours. Trump started funding the invasion. Trump funded the massive medical experiment killing people. And you pop up back here trying to brainwash us into believing that the differences between him and Braindead Biden are more than an inch deep?

You can't deprive us of the ability to choose Kennedy, and we have enough Trump salesmen crying about that fact already.

Not my people.

No amount of denial will change the fact that the Trump 45 administration started funding it.

Congress funded those things by veto proof margins, Trump is going to put an end to them with impoundment.
Letting Biden win is a sure way to make everything bad 100 times worse, there won't be a country left to fix in another 4 years of Biden.

And RFK has a CIA asset running his campaign, so he's not the CIA hater candidate.

Excises for Trump and lies about everyone else.

It's so damned repetitive and boring. And treasonous.

Welp, looks like a hard no from me.

The sad thing is that so many people were interested in third party candidates for the first time this year and then this guy wins the LP nomination.

None shall escape. The Clown Show comes for all.

So, with this guy securing the nomination, there will be a large number of small "l" libertarians that will seek other candidates. If they lean right, they'll probably vote for Trump. If they lean left, they'll stick with the LP candidate... or go to RFK... or go to Biden.

So, Trump ended up winning the day with speaking at the LP convention. lol.

The LP never fails to amuse... and disappoint.

I had never heard of Chase Oliver before this. He doesn't seem like the type of candidate the Mises Caucus would have backed. Has the surge of influence they won in the LP a few years ago fizzled out or something?
