RFK Jr. ‘looking at’ running as Libertarian Party candidate
By Christopher Hutton - January 27, 2024

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is considering the option of running as a Libertarian in the 2024 election, his second party swap in the last year.

During an appearance on CNN, RFK Jr. was asked if he was going to be able to get on all 50 states’ ballots due to his running as an independent. Kennedy emphasized that he “won’t have any problem getting on the ballot,” although he is still in the process of getting onto several states’ election listings. He was then asked if he would seek to be the Libertarian Party‘s candidate, a position that would enable him to appear on all 50 states’ ballots without extra effort by Kennedy’s team.

Kennedy said his team is “looking at” the option, noting that they have a good relationship with the party and that he’s speaking at the California Libertarian Party Convention. He wasn’t willing to commit to whether or not he would join the party but said they were on good terms.

He believes in reparations. Guilt for being born rich, I guess. There's much I like about him but some other stuff is is just straight up left tard. I can't fathom how someone intelligent thinks it's ethical to make people who never had slaves pay people who never were slaves.

A gun grabber? If he and Bob Barr are libertarians, Trump might as well run on that ticket too.

Because I don't follow much about him, I didn't know about his being such a rabid Zionist. Sadly, this is the case with almost every politician - except for the commies like the Squad - but with his support for reparations and the older vid of him saying "climate deniers" from fossil fuel companies should be put in prison, he's just a Zionist lib who happens to be anti vax.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr’s heated exchange with Breaking Points commentator Krystal Ball, where they discuss who is responsible for the tragic situation of Palestinians in Gaza amid the Israel-Hamas conflict, has gone viral. The two spoke about the Palestinians’ plight, civilian casualties and other complications the ongoing conflict has caused.

The conversation spiralled into a heated exchange when Ball and Kennedy began debating the political logistics behind the conflict. They also went back and forth over how Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu handled the situation. “The Palestinian people are arguably the most pampered people by international aid organisations,” Kennedy said.

“Are you kidding me?” Ball said, shocked. “Even before this war, 78 percent of people in Gaza had not enough food to eat.”

“Why are you blaming Israel?” Kennedy asked, and Ball went on to cite the blockade on food. Kennedy then went on to say Hamas’ leadership stole international aid, becoming rich in the process. He accused Ball of making Israel look responsible for the poverty in Gaza.

“They have no control over their own territory!” Ball exclaimed. “Israel controls everything that comes in and goes out.”

“Why do you insist on blaming Israel?” Kennedy said. “Why not Hamas?”

“I do blame Hamas,” Ball said. “But, you know what else? Our tax dollars do not go to Hamas. They go to the Netanyahu government. It’s our bombs being dropped on the civilian population right now.”

All the above points about RFK jr are valid and I agree. But keeping them in mind, I think I may still vote for RFK jr if this is another Trump/Biden election. I haven't decided yet. I know he isn't a Liberterian but I feel like it would be a win/win for both if he ran as the LP candidate. He would get 50 state ballot access and would likely get enough votes to give the LP automatic ballot access next election. It would save him the cost of signature gathering this election the LP the cost next election.

Might finally get to 5% nationally, matching funds.

I feel like if Trump and Biden are the nominees, Kennedy would get double digits. Trump and Biden are the least popular choices in recent history, possibly ever.
