Obama is the appointed one. If this gets to be too big of an issue that can't be swept under the rug, a birth certificate will be "produced".
I saw on the news that nearly 40% of California registered voters are absentee. That is huge.
This is a figure that has worried me over the past few weeks. Seems a tad high doesn't it? You have to legally be out of the area or be a shut in and not able to vote at your local polling place on election day. I heard there were 12,000 absentee ballots sent out in my county (In PA) alone! I want to know where all those people are and why they can't vote.
Did you know we don't have the right to file a lawsuit questioning the credentials of a presidential candidate.
"Surrick rules citizens have no standing to file lawsuits questioning the qualifications of presidential candidates"

All I can say to Judge Surrick is GFY ( good for you). Thanks for putting us little people in our place
haven't the ballots already been printed for absentees? I saw on the news that nearly 40% of California registered voters are absentee. That is huge.
JohnJay said:What jurisdiction do these states, other than Hawai'i, have to require a birth certificate to be produced by anyone ?
And Hawai'i already has Obama's birth certificate on file.

That is the spin - the court did not say that - citizens have the right to sue anybody over anything, once the proper jurisdiction is established.
McCain is ripe for lawsuits on this issue because he was born in Panama - no questuion about THAT.
Each of the states is holding an election for a Federal office that requires U.S. natural born citizenship. If they are not allowed to verify the vault copy then they cannot proceed with certainty that they are not violating the law of the land.
Sounds like plenty of jurisdiction to me.
Not sure I would call it spin. I used Google and got these results. Show me where I'm wrong
