Let's not forget that Trump also met with 'his good friend' Henry Fucking Kissinger, Al Gore, and many other unsavory creatures. Good that the Judge had his ear, not holding my breath for a sudden surge in Constitutionalism in government.

Trump met with Napolitano because he believes a President Trump can profit using his office all he wants without violating the Constitution. He says this in the video linked below. The relevant Clause in the Constitution, usually called the Emolument Clause, is below, and isn't the one given in the Fox News article with the video clip of Nap saying this.
Article I, Section 9, Clause 8:
No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.”

Well most people believe Trump is pro choice and only took pro life chances because he was running for the republican nomination. The assumption is that Trump would be nominating centrist supreme court judges due to his political ideology. He was basically just hoping the judge didn't disqualify himself in Trumps eyes from being considered for the supreme court, because we would want him on the supreme court.
