Judge Napolitano meets with Trump for a full hour

Judge Nap? Hooooolllyyyyy smokes. If nothing else, I hope that he educated Trump on the specifics of what's wrong with existing policy in terms of Constitutional issues.

Probably won't happen but Nap on the SCOTUS would be a major victory for Individual Liberty.

Last year they would have said the same thing about the presdiential election.
We're not operating under the same rules anymore.

And why is that? It is because the perceptual landscape has been altered; disturbed and even disrupted in a way that I suspect Theye would have preferred to have not occurred.

Therefore, that for which we, the people, should now be on the look-out BIG TIME is how Theye will attempt to co-opt this sea change and use it to reestablish the status quo of control which has been similarly disturbed. A thing like this could get out of hand very quickly, and while not very likely (about as likely as a Trump win), the stakes are so high that such a risk becomes nevertheless a huge and looming thing in Theire eyes, I would suspect. Mind is everything, and once disturbed the results cannot be predicted with full confidence. Therefore, keep your eyes peeled for signs of Themme regrouping.

Ask youself: what will the new spin(s) be? You know it has to be coming.... something. I do not say it must be huge and spectacular. Very much the opposite, in fact. I would as much be on the lookout for some subtle twist we may either not have seen before, or which received only passing attention in the past. These people are clever as the devil himself, and more treacherous. At the moment, they have NOTHING. We all should know that Theye will not allow this to stand. Therefore, it is coming... whatever it may actually be. Be prepared. Be a sentry.

This brings up the notion of the Nookyoolar Option. I have been seeing a ton of memes and even some headlines referring to a coup d'etat by the Electoral College. I am largely and shamefully ignorant of these sorts of workings, so forgive me if my thoughts prove absurd on any point. What I am wondering is whether this is Theire, erm... "trump" card, to basically invalidate Trump and install Clinton. If it is procedurally not possible to get Clinton in (why would it be, though, given how much Theye have followed the Constitution of late), it is certainly possible that Theye may be banking on riots and insurrection so that Obama is provided with the pretext for declaring martial law, suspending the Constitution, and dissolving Congress. I grant that this is pretty crazy sounding, but not nearly as crazy today as it would have been 30 years ago, or even on 9/10.

This, of course, would be a Hail Mary pass*** at preserving the fruits of many decades' labor. But if those results are sufficiently threatened, what have Theye to lose by chucking the ball downfield for all their withered limbs will push?

It's probably a concern that's all washed up, but I cannot put anything past Themme these days. Given how tenuous this whole control scheme is in the first place, the apparent sea-change to which we have been witness may well present an existential threat to Theire designs. Bear always in mind that what is important is not so much the reality, but the perception of it; in this case we are speaking of Theire perception. If Theye believe they are about to fall... get my drift?

*** ETA: It just hit me: what if this is NOT a Hail Mary, but precisely what Theye are striving for? Yes, very paranoid, I agree... but given all that to which we have borne witness since 9/11, is it really that far-fetched?

Perhaps. Now that the Judge has figured out that treaties DO NOT trump the Constitution. It was rather alarming when he had not.

Ya we will have to see, but in this case Sessions works for Trump. Trump thinks that medicinal cannabis is helpful for a lot of conditions, he thinks it should be legal medicinally, and he thinks that states should be able to legalize cannabis for recreational purposes.

I don't think Trump picked Sessions because of his views on cannabis, he picked him for other reasons that I believe are more related to immigration.

Yah, me too. Hope so, anyway.

This is no reason for anyone to get their hopes up. Trump has been meeting with a lot of people whose ideas he has no intention of following, like Gore and Obama, apparently just to throw a bone to different constituent groups or something.

Overturning Kelo v. New London is definitely not something Trump ever wants to see SCOTUS do.

If Ron would have won, I wonder if he would have tried to rectify his vote to give Red China Most Favored Nation status?

It's interesting how people who used to pretend to be Ron Paul supporters have recently felt emboldened to come out against him.

Have there been any changes in site policies lately that opened the doors for what used to be considered trolling?

Oh yeah, there have.

That and he's gay I think.

Nap, not Trump, that is

I did nor know that, and it it is true it would make the choice even more perfect for Trump. It would immediately take away from the "HATE" that Hillary told the left is there.

If you support higher tariffs you don't love almost everything about Ron Paul.

Actually, Ron Paul has advocated for tariffs as a way for paying for government. Not the kind that Trump is suggesting, but still. lol.

And for the record, from my understanding, tariffs would only be imposed on China if they kept imposing them on U.S. products and things of that nature. There needs to be a level field; exactly what we do not have now. If you think what we have now is free trade, you are deluding yourself.

Overturning Kelo v. New London is definitely not something Trump ever wants to see SCOTUS do.

And back to Ron voting to give Red China Most Favored Nation status. It was a bad thing. You call Trump out for an event that hasn't yet happened, but refuse to call Ron out for something that has. Interesting.
