Drink of choice tonight? Just bought some Vodka, Whisky and Rum. Will decide before opening statements.

I was going to recommend a shot game where every time they say "ISIS" we drink, but I think we'd all end up dying of alcohol poisoning.

I've commented on several posts relating to the debate tonight on Facebook of what I hope he says tonight.

Rand please say something in your closing statement along the lines of "All of these other candidates offer you more of the same. You will see no difference in the way the country is being ran because they offer no beneficial reform. I offer another option. An option to balance to budget, focus more on an impenetrable defense instead of spreading ourselves thin around the world and engaging in civil wars of nations with evil on both sides. In doing this, we also save ourselves money which can be used to make sure that social security isn't touched. An option that follows the constitution and puts a limit on what government can do, NOT what you can or cannot do. The current policies of this president and these candidates running will only make us less safe by increasing our debt which will end up making us defenseless and then as a consequence, they'll take start taking from your social security.. Let's restore this nation's freedom and prosperity, while maintaining the greatest defense in the world by voting for me."

This will help explain your stance to the older voters because for a lot of them their biggest fears are SS and ISIS, but they dont realize that all these other candidates will run up the debt which will inevitably take away their SS and lower our defense.

It also would be good if you can manage to find an opportunity to call them out on the poll that listed Kasich twice instead of you and the one where they put Bush's picture instead of yours on your results and mention how it's strange how that only seems to happen to you. If you show people that the MSM is against you, they will rally behind you.

I believe he already has the vast majority of the youth vote of the Republican party. His normal responses will help further with securing that. What I posted above I'm hoping wins over the older voters. Rand hasn't been phrasing things correctly to get the older vote. On several instances after he's said something I thought to myself, "well damn that's not going to go over well with older voters". He needs to find a way to craft some messages to cater to older voters as well. Also he doesnt need to be saying things like raising the minimum age of social security, whether he plans to or not. While it's amazing that he's transparent, if he wants to win he cant be saying stuff like that.

^^Yes, got to pace ourselves.

9/11 = 1 drink

mailman = 2 drinks

man coming over the hill singing = empty the bottle

"I was standing in line at a barbecue behind a man with two plates in his hands, and I told him you're not going to live very long eating like that..." = WHOLE LIQUOR CABINET

Go back to the store to buy more. The drinking phrase of the day is "If Trump was here... what would you say to him about (insert some GOP talking point)."

Also, be sure to have 911 on speed dial, because following that recipe will lead to a quick trip to the ER to get your stomach pumped since we all know Trump will be an endless topic tonight.

Bank bailouts, socialized medicine, partial birth abortion, Hillary Clinton.

Those are all things Donald Trump supported.

He's a progressive democrat and he doesn't belong on this stage.

Good riddance.

= suggested response every time his name comes up

Oh I'd love to hear him say, "Maybe he decided go back to the Democratic debates where he belongs". Though Rand seems to be catching a lot of flak from attacking people.

Perhaps it's best to do something like

...at tonight's debate, instead of insulting Trump with surface-level stuff:

"I understand Trump's appeal. People are angry in general with politicians, and specifically with open borders and crony capitalism. He's tapped into that anger.

I get it. In fact, I agree with much of his message. I'm angry too.

I was angry five years ago when I decided, as an eye doctor in Kentucky who had never run for political office in my life, never worked in government, to run for the Senate. I decided to fight the establishment and stand up for the people. The establishment fought like crazy to keep me from the Senate, and they've been trying to silence me every day for the past five years. Why do you think they prevented me from the debate two weeks ago?

So I'm an outsider, too. Just like Trump. And I'm angry too, just like you. Angry with big government, high taxes, crazy regulations, dangerous debt and crony capitalism.

But being angry isn't enough, and Trump isn't the answer. He supported the bank bailout, did you? He supports a 'yuge' government role in health care, do you? Eminent domain to benefit corporations? The Obama stimulus? And Trump *is* crony capitalism.

Instead, stand with me. *Fight* with me."
