Is Rand Paul Too Short For Presidency?

Is that Rand's wife?

If you really think that being short makes someone less qualified to be President, I feel the need to point out that the shortest and tallest Presidents were James Madison (5'4'') and Abraham Lincoln (6'5'') respectively. Yet, among those two, which one governed as if he had a Napoleon Complex? ;)
Those were different times. Height didn't matter as much back then.

Oh, I think I get it. Besides having to be a natural born citizen or citizen of the US, at least 35 years old, a resident within the US for at least 14 years, and someone who hasn't already been elected twice, there's also the secret requirement in the secret constitution that says the person has to be tall enough to be president; right?

It's called the "Disneyland" rule.

He might not be short at all. But since he's not Anthony Weiner, I guess we'll never know for sure.

But we do know this for sure. He has more brains and more class than Weiner. Even though Weiner is taller.

Most voters never saw those candidates in person or even knew what they looked like. Also, Lincoln was 6'4'' and possible suffered from Marfan Syndrome, which would explain his height.

You might as well say, "those were different times. The Constitution mattered more then." Fads and fashions can shift, but things like integrity, truth, and fidelity to the founding principles don't just fly out the window because the man presenting them is dressed a little funny, has outdated facial hair, or isn't very tall.

He's not that short. 5'10 is the national average for men.

The average height of Presidents since Kennedy has been just under 6'1".

Most of the posts I've seen have said he's 5'7", and Hillary is also 5'7", but Hillary can wear higher heels than Rand can get away with. That could make Rand look puny.
