Idea On How You Recruit Arabs To Rp

Why in the heck would a Muslim want to vote for double guantanomo Mormon Romney, or Police state Guliani, or Bomb bomb Iran McCain or Status Quo Hillary?

Barak Maybe, but he is trying to run from his middle name.

Plus, I say F the Media, they are going to try and spin any and every thing, so F'em.

Edit: We need the Jesus vote too and I think in the end we are going to get that too. Remember the objectives of one is pretty much the same as the objectives of the other. Peace, Freedom to worship, and teach their children as they please.

Pluse everyone hates taxes.

They're irrelevant, if they were relevant, Rudy would be all over their you know what. So would Hillary.

Giuliani's platform would not be attractive to most Arabs in my opinion. "Fight them over there."

Ron Paul does have an attractive platform. I would think it would be that much more likable to people that have family in the Middle East or had once lived there.

He is not going after anyone in particular, it is just a few supporters that are making sure that they have not overlooked anybody who might be particularly impressed by his message. No Religion Left Behind so to speak.

So much speculation by us noobs. :o

I'm just gonna go hold a sign in the corner...

I Know I Sound Like A Broken Record....

STOP WORRYING ABOUT THE MEDIA!

Attack the media head on and do not apologize or water down any of RP's positions. Those weak minded dim-wits who would get "turned off" by RP having Arab support...or 9/11 truther support...will not be able to sustain the coming media barrage against RP anyway...Forget them..

And the evangelicals who want WW3, and think Jesus is gonna zap them up to heaven if they support Israel, will be voting for Phony Fred Thompson.

Arab cash and Arab networking can help RP create his own media.

"The purely defensive is doomed to defeat"

akus

Giuliani and Hilary know that there is more money and influence to be gained by kissing Zionist butt...

If they tried to get Arab support they be laughed out of every mosque in america...

No one goes after this potential gold mine because they would lose the jewish money..

Thats why RP can fill a huge vacuum...He doesnt have to actively woo them. A mere explanation of RP's policy to these people will suffice. If we get the ball rolling, arab networking will take off on its own.

My freaking point exactly, he says that because he knows the percentage of people turned off by that specifically because they're those proverbial "them" is too small to matter.

Ron Paul does have an attractive platform.

Yes, he does. Ron Paul is a Conservative, Bible believing church going baby delivering Christian whose first marriage is still his only marriage. He couldn't be anymore wholesome if he actually healed the sick and raised the dead. So why ruin it with the whole Arab/Moslem thing. PR is very important and this is a gamble we can't afford if you ask me.

Akus at least have some sence at what your talking, George W. Bush, preached out to muslims, in 2000, and yes, most Muslims voted GWB Because Al gores VP was Joe Lieberman a Zionist supporting you know what, he look what happened. Jon kyl of Arizona came to my house and spoke to a arab american audience, Jim pederson as well we raised more than 20,000 dollars for them, if you think Jews arent big in america (2%) how come 56% of them are CEO'S, see specific groups like Muslims or Jews are influential and for the most part rich. its good were targetting Arabs now, next will target Jews who oppose Israel.

Hamadeh, I have sense, thank you.

Bush preached to Moslems not because any vote is a good vote, like in our case. It was probably carefully staged PR move in a context: hey, those dems got a Jew running for a veep, well, we'll go after Moslems. The analogy, though appreciated, is inappropriate.

We are doing it...not RP

I'm not suggesting that RP visit mosques and bash Israel (although I'd love to see the Zionist media's reaction to that!..lol)

We as volunteers can spread the RP virus into the Arab community and sit back as they raise millions of dollars..

Theres a difference stop demonizing Muslims, because there going to be the biggest religion in 2020, and going to beat out the Judiasm religion in America in 2020, to 2%, so maybe Ron Paul is being more inviting than you think? and dont disrespect me by saying Moslem as its an insult, if you know the arabic language. Ron Paul is bored and doesnt care about the media, he speaks for Americans, and yes arabs are americans, its like saying Students for Paul, we shouldnt have that because were targetting the rebelious younger people.

I'm sorry, I thought the spelling was interchangeable.:( mUslim

Apologies

Bashing Israel isn't necessary. However, our government guaranteeing them 3 billion dollars a year for the next 10 years sure does make me mad. Makes no sense at all.

I have nothing against Muslims.

Any vote for Ron Paul is good enough for me. I personally overlook many things I disagree with him, because I know it is crucial he wins.

All I am saying, seriously, with no hidden agenda, is that will be spun horribly and an average Joe will distance themselves from him.

PR is everything and election is a beauty pageant. People are clueless and will vote for a person with a better tie, or a funnier joke, not for actual issues. Bill O'Reilly spins Paul, so does Glenn Beck. Those guys have loyal listeners, who are too shallow or stupid to allow the notion that not everything talk-radio says is a Gospel truth.

That is all.

I would be glad beyond beliefs if I turn out to be wrong. I just don't think I am.

We can back up Dr. Paul's opposition to aid for Israel by the fact that he consistently preaches non-interventionism. There's really no need to go around screaming "Zionists everywhere OMGz". Just state that we oppose intervention in the Middle East and aid to all nations including Israel. The media will have a field day if they see that Paul supporters are pushing a "the zionists control Americazzzz" campaign. The very word 'zionist' is inflammatory. It's up there with the N word to most people. No need to alienate people

Let's be sensible and use an appropriate flyer and approach. We need the whitebread, conservative, Christian white votes BIG TIME in Iowa. That's the majority of the state. Do not alienate them with radical rhetoric. We can win over both Muslims and Christians with a sensible approach to this issue

You really need to remove "Zionist Neo-conservatives"

This is going to feed fuel to the media fire and I can see this being on Fox news: "is Ron Paul tageting anti-semites and Jihadists?"

There is an appropriate way to reach out to the Arab population and you take it a little too far

I can tell you that by the number of Arabs that I've seen in meetup groups and in the facebook group, they're already getting the message...no need to reach out to the extremes. We'll get that vote

Any media exposure for Ron Paul is a good thing. He needs more name recognition. Do what works to recruit.

That's the kind of thing that is going to lose us the election.

You have to be careful with your words. Every time I create a flyer or do anything related to DR. Paul, I ask myself if it will hurt or help the campaign

· Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate who opposes financial and military aid for Israel.

I have seen where he has written that he is against giving foreign aid to EVERYONE, but I have not seen where he has specifically mentioned "military aid".
Please provide your source.

I do not agree with singling Israel out. He is against giving foreign aid to all nations. By singling Israel out, it makes it appear that he's anti-Israel, which he most certainly is not.

I agree. I am not opposed to the idea, but the text currently proposed in the flier needs to be reworked.

Absolutely. There is no reason to bash any faith to spread Dr. Paul's message.

Please do not go forward with your flyer in its current state.

Best Answer?

Seems the best bet is to simply say, "RP STRONGLY advocates COMPLETELY stopping all US government foreign aid to ANY nation. That would mean no more taxpayer money goes to Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Palestine, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, etc., etc., etc. EVER AGAIN.

If that simple fact doesn't get the point across to Arabic groups, then what else do they really need to hear?

Also, this doesn't mean that all foreign aid from the USA will cease. Private individuals, corporations and others all give plenty to causes they deem fit:

I see no reason to make it a secret that Ron Paul wants to end all military aid to Israel specifically... Israel is the largest recipient of American foreign aid and this is an issue that bothers Arabs A LOT. 1% of the U.S. population is still 3 million votes...
