I am so angry at Piers Morgan for being so unprofessional to Ron Paul

Piers Morgan is a brainless snob who exemplifies very well indeed just why we needed to disconnect ourselves from British rule.

Memo to new @PiersTonight converts - I like expressing my own opinions, and I like interrupting. So deal with it.... #CNN

This is incredibly rude, and unprofessional. It's almost as if Piers Morgan BOUGHT his job, because he certainly didn't earn it with his talent as an interviewer.

He's just a schmuck who got lucky in life. A talentless schmuck.

I bet with only a little training, even I could make a better interviewer!

Yes. The MSM should definitely go back to blacking out Ron Paul.

This whole "let's give him an hour and let him defend his views thing" is way detrimental to the campaign.

I've just watched the interview a second time. For the record, I want to change my opinion. I want to thank Piers Morgan for the interview.

He wasn't angry. He wasn't insulting. He interrupted RP, but every time RP asked him to let him finish his thought - he obliged.

Now, let's think a little about the purpose of this interview from Piers Morgan's point of view. He wanted get the maximum exposure. That's our purpose too, right?
Now, he competed with Fox interviewing about the same time clear leaders of the race.

Well, he knew that Ron Paul supporters will be seating through the interview no matter what. So he opened his show with "Ron Paul will not win." An establishment Republican, who happened to hear that, would stay because he would want to know how to argue against RP and the media doesn't provide him with good answers. On the other hand, if he heard at the beginning how RP had a good chance to win, he would have dismissed the whole thing as RP propaganda, the same way we turn off when we hear how good Romney is. BTW, at the end of the show he let RP discuss his chances.

After that opening, he continues with diet and exercise, so that simple folks wouldn't turn off. Then he started hitting RP hard on real issues. He repeated all the main lines of attack on foreign policy, economics, and social issues. Intentionally or not, he even exaggerated the attack occasionally. (I don't think establishment would ever say that they want U.S. be the policeman of the world.) He interrupted RP when he would go in educational mode and forced him to be as sharp as knife in his answers. Ron Paul by nature is not antagonistic and doesn't like to be in your face but he can do it when he is against the wall, and boy he certainly did it in this interview.

Ron Paul came out of this interview looking great, humble, looking personal, and looking presidential for his supporters, for the establishment, and for non-political people.Piers Morgan didn't come out looking good, so what?

Not on behalf of Ron Paul supporters, but from me personally, Piers Morgan - thank you.

Yes, we need to thank Piers for not putting a sleeper hold on Ron.

I'd like to see Alex Jones interview Piers Morgan.

It was a spirited interview and other than his opening statement he brought up all the arguments against Ron and he knocked them down.

I've seen Ron Paul in a different light and IMO this showed that he's as sharp as ever

Piers Morgan was only doing his job.

I can't recall another interview Morgan has done where he fired off questions like cannonballs without allowing sufficient time for the respondent to fully answer the question.

watch it again...

as ron paul would say "maybe you're just sensitive."

it was a good interview AN HOUR long on MSM for Ron Paul.

Quit yer bitchin' and write a thank you letter.

Gurv I think he did an excellent job. Ron fielded every question and did a great job doing it. Piers Morgan was only doing his job. Ron looked very professional. Also, he looked great in his attire -- beautiful suit and tie.

Morgan is the type of fool that makes my head almost explode with this logical fallacies and populous bullshit.

That being said, I think Ron did a great job, and I am appreciative of the hour's worth of coverage.

The only thing I think Ron could have done better (the ONLY thing) is when Morgan asked him some crap question about Al Quaeda, something like "yes but you must admit that they didn't like western society, that they were against capitalism...."

That asshole just spend 10 minutes lying about the free market and vilifying voluntary society, so Ron should have just said "well you're against capitalism too but that doesn't mean we should invade Britain."

I watched it twice and my opinion remains the same. Thank you letter, my ass.

Remember Star Wars? Don't give into anger....you will become the very thing you hate.

I watch Star Wars nightly (2 year old that loves it because of the lightsaber battles)...that being said, I think anger can be a great motivator, if used properly (Mace Windu was the only Jedi Knight with his special powers, which is how he was able to withstand Palpatine's Force powers in Episode III).

I didn't see the interview, but my 89 y/o great aunt just told me tonight that she just happened upon the interview and liked it so much she stayed up past her bedtime to watch the whole thing. She said she will now be voting for Ron Paul!
