I am Pro-Ron Paul but don't see what's wrong with the NAU/NAFTA Superhighway?

The Kansas City "smartport" hub will be soverign Mexican property

We will have to pay toll on a road that has been sold to the Spaniards

Millions of acres of land will be taken by eminent domain

The bulk of the truck drivers will be Mexican nationals working for much less than American drivers and not subject to the same safety scrutiny that American companies would receive.

The road will have built in RFID sensors for complete tracking of goods and individuals as well as pay by the mile fees for your car

Allows billions of tons of unscreened cargo unrestricted access straight to Kansas City before it is screened by the Mexicans.

If it is such a good deal for America, why did the Mcquarie Group (partner in the project) purchase about 40 newspapers and radio stations throughout Texas and Oklahoma that were actively against this project?

I suggest that everyone listen to Rollye James tonight because Jerome Corsi will be the guest for three straight hours. www.rollye.net for stream and listings other than XM Radio.

What is bad about it? Why shouldn't we have it?

Please back up all statements with quality sources.

No propaganda videos on youtube please.

You obviously have not done your homework. How about you come to us and tell us why it is a good thing. Once you've done that you can explain why the media chooses to ignore it or lie about it.

you dont see whats wrong with it????

have you ever read about a man named hitler... and what he was trying to succed on doing?

It is being put into affect in secret and without the consent of the people. If they want to convince us that it is a good idea to give up our national sovereignty they need to make their case before the people, build popular support, vote on it, and implement it. The fact is they realize they can't get that support so they are moving ahead in a very covert way.

When multinational corporations proposes something that intentionally or even unintentionally impedes US sovereignty in order for them to get cheap labour, I automatically say "hell no, f*ck off!" I don't know about your reaction, but that's mine.

because we become part of a union which we become governed by.

Right. Imagine the problems we have with power with the federal government taking state and local rights away. Now imagine a layer on top of that even.

Take a look a the European Union and see the problems it has with taking right away from individual countries. There's big pushes all the time to standardize laws across all Europe. The Europeans I know (albeit not many) don't care for the EU at all. It has driven costs for good up in Italy, for example. I've been to Italy twice: one pre-EU (2000) and one post-EU (2006) and prices were *definately*much higher outside of the tourist areas. The burden is definitely being felt too.

If regional governments are on the rise (EU), could we be that far from a world government?

I can't make out of this question is asking

1) What is wrong with the NAU
AND
2) What is wrong with the NAFTA Superhighway

or if it is asking

What is wrong with the superhighway sometimes called the NAFTA Superhighway but perhaps also called the NAU Superhighway?

OP?

It's just a damn highway.

It is NOT just a damn highway. It is a highway being built in secret with our tax money. Should people in South Carolina be expected to finance a highway that they will never use and that will undoubtedly further contribute to the flood of illegal immigrants that will come to South Carolina and take jobs from South Carolinians?

If it's "just a damn highway" then why all the secrecy and denials?

Like I said, please back up your statements. I don't see how we lose our sovereignty from it.

It usurps our constitution with the "elites" version, therefore they rule over us. History shows that concentration of power, leads to tyrrany without proper checks and balances. Read any history book going abck 5,000 years.

It will drive a knife in the republic as we know. From a cultural standpoint, we will lose alot of our heritage, history, and values as a great nation, and will beome something much different.

From an economic standpoin: We will be merging with a 3rd world nation, and the greedy globalists will skim even more from the top, because they have complete control, without any recourse from the people.

Basically, it is a complete conquer of a continent, by stealth, deceit, and incrementalism. All this because the people were to busy debating whether there is a " kooky conspiracy" or not. lol

anyone have a good link about the history of the EU? rather read but youtube documentary will work..

thanks,
-adrian

How does it make the immigration problem a nightmare. There would still be the same border control regulations on the highway, I assume.

This will make iimmigration a nightmare on 'roids!

You think we have a problem now - HA! - just wait and see what happens if a trans union occurs and it becomes one huge melting pot of Who's on First. (I would rather not)

In addition:

These highways will connect to new deep water ports being constructed to receive Communist Chinese ships in Mexico. Many Commie Chinese goods evade US tax through a loophole if they are shipped via Mexico.

There is no doubt NAFTA has been a complete failure. In the last democratic debate, Hillary Clinton was asked whether she thought NAFTA was a mistake, and she said "It didn't work out the way they thought it would."

American Companies move down to Mexico, get cheap labor, tax exempts, import their products into American, and sell them for the same relative price they before NAFTA.

The European Union started with pacts, conventions, treaties and agreements of the European Community. All under the guise of economic cooperation. Which in itself is fine, but free trade for instance doesn't need big agreements with dozens of small print pages. That in itself is a giveaway. Then in the early 90ies they threw all those treaties together at Maastricht and all of sudden we were living in the European Union. "Oh and by the way, you're going to get a new currency." Today most of our laws come from Brussels.

I think it was The Club of Rome who in 1975 first (publicly) introduced the plan of dividing the world into ten free trade regions. North-America was one of them. In GATT it was further implemented.

The NAFTA Super Highway and the proposed North American Union are part of the agenda to bring about a one world government.

It was proposed many years ago that in order to bring about world peace the world must be unified under a global governing system. A method to do this is via the creation of regional economic cooperatives which are regulated via an overseeing organisation to which nations secede some of their sovereignty.

NAFTA, the EU and APEC/ASEAN are examples of this. To understand how this developed it is necessary to visit a large library and research what is known as the General Agreement of Tariff and Trades which eventually became the World Trade Organisation. It is also essential to research the New International Economic Order agenda as well as the General and Complete Disarmament agenda.

In exactly the same way that socialism tries to equalise everyone by taking from one to give to another the international free trade agreements and regional cooperatives are designed to transfer national wealth from the developed nations to the developing nations while at the same time transferring their sovereignty to international organisations. This is occurring economically, environmentally and politically.

The agenda has a Marxist philosophical underpinning to it and the goal is a utopian world socialist government. This utopia is the same one that sounds nice in theory but in reality results in the mass murder and persecution of those who do not go along with it. It is the antithesis of freedom.

What I wrote above is a very brief outline of what these programs are designed to achieve but you will need to read the history and documents for yourself to gain an understanding of the context and how it is being brought about.

Also don't forget to study philosophy as it is this subject which lies at the root of why people do what people do.
