More like I begrudgingly chose Trump from a comprehensive list of pros and cons. Plus, Trump's enemies (Glenn Beck, NRO, Karl Rove) are impressive to say the least. The entire field is lackluster. Rand wanted to play it safe like the quiet professor and not ruffle any feathers.

I think Rand's campaign actually did get people to the caucus, they just ended up voting for someone else.
