No, not fix prices; I'm only talking about wages. What I'm saying is that those in control of the government want to increase the minimum wage, which is not only something that I'm opposed to, but I'm also opposed to any kind of minimum wage (well, I suppose I don't care if they make the minimum wage anything greater than 0 cents or something like that), and it seems like they're going to do it whether I'm opposed to it or not. I'm opposed to it because it screws up the economy, and since they're going to proceed with that and being opposed to the minimum wage isn't going to stop them, then maybe a different strategy is needed.
And actually no, I'm not the one who wants to control the economy. I just want to mock those who think they can do the impossible.
Imagine what the reaction of the political pundits in favor of increasing the minimum wage might be. If they criticize the idea of increasing everyone else's wage proportionally, they're probably going to have to explain the economic effect of doing such a thing (otherwise they're going to sound like they're whining just for the sake of whining). When they do this, it presents an opportunity to call them out on the problems that increasing the minimum wage causes; they'd be cornered with no way out. At least that's what it seems like to me, anyways. Am I wrong? Would they not be cornered as a result?
