"July, 1945. It was probably related to the U.S. Hemp for Victory campaign, which allowed production of hemp for the U.S. WWII effort."

For those that have never seen this WWII propaganda film

YouTube - Hemp For Victory

Where did I see it?Drug war.... Some pothead is sitting in his moms basement and when his mother asks him:"What are you doing?"
He inhales a joint and screams back to her: "I am waging a war".... exhales and smiles...." I am winning"...
Drug war: all the power of government vs 1 pothead and government is losing.

well people im out of jail, been home since dec.10th,and it feels good,i did 13 and half months on the 8 year sentence.i got 5 and half left on parol.but the fight goes on.RON PAUL will always be the man.

Just found this thread for the first time. I have to say that at one time I was totally anti-drugs and pro drug war (I was part of the "just say no" program in elementary).

Now I have a hard time understanding how anyone could spend time in jail for growing a plant. It is beyond absurd. Ron Paul's message has a way of changing a persons mind about things.

Glad you got out early cornbread. Sucks that you had to go in the first place.

Or a still, for that matter. Alcohol can be drunk, or used as a fuel for your car. Just like marijuana has dual purposes of a drug, or rope usage. What's the problem?
