Google Pulls Parler as Apple Threatens the Same in Wake of Capitol Riot

So much for competition. Google doesn't fear any anti-trust action under the Communist Totalitarian Regime, as long as they are part of the machine.

And here I thought the Democrats were for the "little guy" and railed against crony capitalism. I guess only the crony capitalism that doesn't help them to accrue power and money.

Democrat politicians in general have always been wealthier and more involved in kleptocracy, all the while falsely claiming they are for the “little guy”.

Information war is heating up. Blackout all dissent. Before it was only Ron Paul and the liberty movement, now its half the country. Things are going to get really crazy soon.

Pretty sure we can stop calling it a "riot".

It was more like an unauthorized walk-through.

Detailed damage assessments from the Architect of the Capitol or the U.S. Capitol Police have yet to be released. But the singular works of art that curators consider the treasures of the building did not appear to have suffered any major damage.

All those statues and paintings and relics... If this was a riot, then republicans really suck at rioting.

No, this is just the excuse to clamp down on unallowable opinion.

I saw a photo of the "rioters" walking single file through the hall with the statues and no one was outside the velvet rail barriers, they looked like they were going in to see a movie.

It was a peaceful protest.

As even Stevie Wonder could see

In Post-Truth America events are remembered exactly as imagined, not as reality.

Truth literally doesn't matter anymore.

This is what happens when Liars, Cheats and Thieves are allowed to run rampant in a nation. Pretty soon everyone makes up their own history.

How much lower can America go? Let's ask Mike Pompeo....

There was definitely some damage done. Mostly to windows and doors. You know, things that got in the way of people moving around. But it doesn't seem like they were there to "riot". There was some furniture damage... they left some trash... But didn't topple the statues or busts (and there are lots of those in the building). No spray paint on paintings... nothing burned...

You know the typical things you see in a "riot".

I think its more than half the country. The only information that is supposed to get out is the bits of divisive propaganda the ~5% (and that might be pushing it) cares about. Most of the socialist movement are nothing more than pawns.

Parler is being held accountable for the content of user posts on their platform?

Huh... so... for those upset about this, how do you feel about section 230? Just wondering.

You mean big tech companies hiding behind 230 while using 230 to attack those who say things they don't like?

The answer is obvious. Now back to your regularly scheduled trolling.

and I saw Video of Trump supporters Fighting with and trying to stop this shit..

The Video (scripted) of the "Storming" was Comical in the Borat Style.

and a Congresswoman wrote a response to it a Day before it happened.(prior Knowledge)
It was planned and expected..and organized for no other purpose than to silence the Several thousands of Peaceful but Angry Americans.

Do you think that companies should be legally liable for the content posted on their platforms by their users?

I think they shouldn't be able to have it both ways. They should either act like a newspaper or an internet forum, but they can't choose which one based on the content they are judging. I think 230 might be better off dead, and then we let the market try to replace it with something mutually acceptable. I bet it can come up with a system at least as good as the current one.

Heck, the market might sort this out reasonably well anyway. Parler, Signal, Rumble, etc are all quickly becoming viable alternatives. More competition is bound to enter the market soon and take advantage.
