He turned a liberty candidate running for TX governor, Debra Medina, into a truther on his show. In fairness she gave a bad answer, but it was a question he should have never asked. And then the creaming afterwards, truther, truther, truther.

You haven't been here long, so i'll excuse the newbie opinion. It was Ron Paul supporters who held the first tea party rally with a $6 mil money bomb for his campaign in 2007. Its unclear where the idea came from but was promoted by Trevor Lyman. A rally was held at Fanieull hall, several liberty luminaries attended and spoke.

After that, End the Fed rallies were being had, and Rick Santelli picked up on it and called for another tea party. Once it became huge, beck and his 912ers showed up, along with Sarah Palin and Dick Army and co-opted it.

We should kill the tea party, come up with a new idea.

Actually, I believe Corie Whalen, Ron Paul activist, was the founder of the Tea Party.

She's speaking at a liberty event in July with Mike Lee, Rafael Cruz, David Schweikert, Mia Love...and Glenn Beck.

I think she was the lead of the meetup Boston group. It was meetup Boston that set up the event at Fanieull Hall I think. She was there, I saw her. She was a lot younger then, gosh its been so long!

But Tea Party wasn't one person, its unfair to say she "founded" it. IT was a spontaneous crowd-source occurrence.
