Why not bash Beck when he is a hypocrite instead of bashing him when he is doing good. Makes no sense other than people here have Stockholm syndrome from spending too much time on Progressive/Liberal blog sites where bashing Beck is some form of mental masturbation.

Coming up, praise for fascist Joe Scarborough or John ffing Stewart because he may have said something that slightly comes close to agreeing with Ron Paul one time this year, blah, blah, blah. Hypocrites.

Can someone send me a PM explaing exactly why Glenn Beck is so bad? I honestly haven't listened to him much, and I'm withholding judgment until we get another Republican President to test his resolve (If he's a faker, he'll almost certainly show it then) but it seems like its very possible that he could be moving in our direction. I'll take slow movement if its genuine movement. Not that I want him for President or anything, but if he is becomming an ally, that's good as far as I can tell.

I agree he deserves to be bashed for that. My point is I think we need to be careful of bashing him as a whole and without the facts to back it up because it could back fire and harm the message on domestic policy.

There is more bashing of Beck and Rand in these forums than commentators and politicians that are far more deserving of criticism.

My beef with him has always been his hyperbole. Some things are worth shrieking about but he has a habit of hyping "major news stories" that turn out to be nothing.
He just needs to learn when to turn it on and when to tone it down.

I have listened to him since 2003. I believe I am qualified to assess him. He was one of the biggest warmongers around until he decided to try and embrace the tea party and proclaim himself for liberty. He wouldnt spit down a libertarians throat if his guts were on fire. Its all about marketing himself.
