Fox News Poll

not worried about cain, i'm more disturbed that Ron hasn't yet hit 20% and in fact is doing 6% according to this poll. Hopefully now that the ad blitz is coming we will begin our ascension.

Not concerned about a faux news poll.

Then what about the CNN poll that has Ron at 7% and the Rasmussen poll that has him at 6%? The fact is that Ron has been losing ground in all these polls. Ron's campaign really needs to shift course and try a different strategy.

This race is Paul vs Romney.

Ive been saying this since before Perry entered the race. This is what it will come down to. And it's a race that Paul CAN win. Romney isn't that well liked and Obama would probably beat him in the general election. Thats why the establishment is trying so hard to get another front runner candidate.

Funny how the majority of the polls they actually show have Ron at 6-7% and you guys actually believe they are real polls. We all know they refuse to show polls we win, often by landslides, yet most of you readily accept these polls as if they arent rigged or completely made up.

Ok, that all is true....but a USA Today poll had him at 13% less than 2 weeks ago and CNN had him at 12% earlier this month. We were in a clear third place position before this poll when averaging the various polls out, and now we're essentially tied with Cain and Gingrich for 3rd when adding in the recent polls.

Look at Iowa and New Hampshire polls.....we seem to be rising there. Don't freak out! Look at where Huckabee was 4 years ago (he had 4.5%) And McCain had 15% at this point 4 years ago,so your suggestion that we need to be at 20% just isn't true.

Yep. It's not Fox; it's all of the polls save USA Today. We're simply going the wrong way. First the Braves and now this; I might be on suicide watch by the end of the night.

It's not even worth responding to someone who doesn't know the difference between an online and a scientific poll and then criticizes others for accepting scientific polls..

The conspiracy people are already here. Devil21, where are we polling at then? 30%????

I told you people that Cain would get a huge jump and you people keep laughing and laughing and laughing at Cain. Well, now look. Brilliant guys.

RP has been hitting double figures in nearly every nationwide poll in the last couple months. Some state polls he lags but 11%-15% has been the norm lately. Now suddenly he's at 6% on the latest Fox News poll? Nevermind the article on the poll says he was 8% in their last poll, so not only does RP lag behind CNN and other polling on Fox polls, he's losing ground? Sorry but that doesnt fit with what we're seeing overall.

I couldnt help but notice that the website for the company that conducted the poll reads a lot like a Luntz operation:
opinion dynamics corp website said:
Opinion Dynamics provides you with the right data and methodologies to meet your goals.

And what is Fox News goal? To marginalize RP as much as possible. Glad this company is providing Fox the "right data" to meet that goal.

Huntsman actually is better than most of the other candidates. He at least supports getting out of Afghanistan.

Sure, he's great if you like Democrats.

Ron is polling better in Iowa than he is nationally, but I would still think that there has to be some correlation between national polls and the polls for Iowa. I would think that if Ron starts going up in the national polls, he'll also start going up in the Iowa polls, and vice versa. I'd really like for Rand to be Ron's debate coach, or better yet, he could just be his campaign manager. Ron must start framing the issues in a way that appeals to conservative Republican primary voters. He can't come across like Dennis Kucinich in the debates and expect to do well in a GOP primary.

I think we've all learned from history. In 2008, people said that the polls were all wrong. Then, when the actual results came in, the results were almost exactly identical to the polls. Not everything is a conspiracy theory.

Cain reminds me of Huckabee. Slick talker and the one liners, slogan for everything.
If Huckabee taught us anything, it is to not count anyone out.
Huckabee ran on fumes for a long time with the help of the churches
And pro-life organizations. Whomever they get behind will be a force. They did not go Romney last time.

Can someone explain how cain basically tripled his support in a matter of 4 days
