Fox News Poll

Can someone explain how cain basically tripled his support in a matter of 4 days

P5, Hannity, Limbaugh, basically all of Fox. It had nothing to do with the candidate and everything to do with the media. As I have said, it is a media bump. It does not last. He will be harder to bring down than Perry though. The public love the way he speaks to them like they are children, and he has no record to speak of.

The folks in the MSM must be laughing their heads off as they shake their bags of stale bread watching the frantic ducks, I meant voters, frantically scurrying from one end of the lake to the other clearly STILL fully under their control. They will aimlessly keep seeking out the featured flavor of the day, passing up the real food all around them. And as long as the general public behave like fans at a horse race, it will remain that way.

Absolutely disgusting.

So when Ron's polling third and winning straw polls left and right, the top tier is Perry and Romney and they ignore him at the debates. Cain wins one straw poll and gets pushed hardcore by the media, starts polling in third place and now he's part of the top tier? Unfortunately this means we're going to get even less time at the debates now. This is absurd.

I think we've all learned from history. In 2008, people said that the polls were all wrong. Then, when the actual results came in, the results were almost exactly identical to the polls. Not everything is a conspiracy theory.

Nobody is saying everything is a conspiracy. I do, however, notice that on my local radio Ron Paul's ideas are only talked about on coast-to-coast, but during the day ... hardly a peep. There is no talk of the dishonesty of the fiat money system, the horrific results of perpetual military operations, the false flags that start the "undeclared wars" where the enemy is not clearly defined, and the loss of jobs due to the Oligarchy/Corporatocracy central controls.

Corporate media has chosen our president virtually every time in the last 100 years and maybe longer ago than that. But it doesn't matter anymore. If they are successful in defeating Ron Paul's republican nomination, we will get 4 more years of a Democrat president because we hold the key. No One But Paul.

But even that doesn't matter in the end because the r3VOLution is real, it will be won, and it will be televised. All who tried to suppress it will be exposed. i.e., Paul Krugman, Robert Reich, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Thom Hartmann, Ed Schultz, Rachel Maddow, et. al., etc. will be remembered for hiding the truth.

Perry is a political machine with serious backers. He has run successful campaigns in the past in one of the nation's biggest states.

Cain is a candidate that has VERY little organization and he has even considered dropping out due to money twice in the past.

We have a GREAT operation already running in the early states and nationwide enthusiastic supporters. We can take down Cain easily - so it's great that Perry is bringing himself down.

The stars just might be aligning for us - do not be discouraged and let's keep working hard.

Cain just starting to Bachmann, as we thought he would.

This isn't absurd or unexpected. We predicted it in a "What Comes Next" thread and saw it coming from a mile away.

My hope is that is forces Romney to go on the attack.

What new tax does it add again?

A national sales tax, basically a VAT. In states with sales tax already like mine, we'd be paying 15% on our deep dish pizza.

What's even stupider is that as president would not have the power to implement it.

New Fox Poll Tilts Demographic

Earlier this year, Fox News switched its polling firm from Opinion Dynamics to Anderson Robbins Research (D)/Shaw and Company Research (R), a joint bipartisan collaboration.

This change has produced a shift in the Fox News poll. Previously, it was usually on the right hand side of the RealClearPolitics’ average of Obama’s job approval, along with Gallup, Quinnipiac, and Rasmussen. Lately, however, it has fallen on the left, mixed in with polls from major media outlets.

One reason for the shift might be the partisan balance in the poll. Opinion Dynamics usually found a pretty even party split, with Republicans occasionally taking a lead. Since Anderson Robbins/Shaw and Company started polling, however, they’ve consistently found a Democratic partisan advantage that recently has grown quite large.

This doesn't necessarily explain low number for Paul, but there's no way to guarantee it wasn't biased against him either.

Exactly. As far as campaigns go, Cain's is second rate and completely unserious.

I'm not discouraged. This kind of stuff encourages me even more. The media ignore every Straw Poll till Cain wins? Then I'll send as many people to VVS as possible to give them another to ignore. I'll do everything I can until Ron wins, then I'll celebrate at his inauguration. Perry didn't concern me, Cain doesn't concern me. You can bet they don't concern Ron either.

Onward.

Look at who runs anderson robbins and who they used to work for. It'll open your eyes a bit.

My bet is that Romney is thinking Cain for a VP spot. Romney needs a Southern "conservative" on the ticket.

We don't hold the key if there aren't very many of us. The only way Ron can have any influence in the general election race is if he gets a larger percentage of the votes during the primary process.

If voters are THIS fickle and this poll isn't bullshit, then we have a lot (and I mean A LOT) of work to do.

Another way Ron Paul can have influence is if his supporters write-in Ron Paul for the General Election... which I am going to do if he is not the GOP nominee.
