Face it..We either win or lose this election tommorrow in NH

short sited. elections aren't won in a single state. we are competing in all 50. And yes, we will win some of those states... and win partial delegates in others.

I don't think it really matters what we do in NH. We need to keep spreading the word and this cause. I don't remember Christopher Columbus giving up after multiple scientist thought they were showing him correct evidence that the world couldn't be round and that he was crazy. Guess what, the world is round. So through up statistics on how canidates fair after the first 2 states. Sounds like to me that these are the same methods that made the majority of American people apathetic sheep in the first place. As long as I am in this world I will spread these same values and ideals that Ron Paul does with the same conviction. You can convince yourself how something isn't possible all you want, that just means you have a low capability of accomplishing anything. Confidence will always make you better as much as you want to deny it. GO RON PAUL!!! Thanks for continous battle for righteousness and reason!!

The only way to end this media black out and get every-day americans to sit up and say, "hey, this guy actually has a shot.. and he sure isn't the status quo, so I'm gonna jump on that bandwagon and go out and vote for him".

Anything less than 3rd.. and the campaign is over.. this much I'm certain of. Dr. Paul, like any good doctor, has determined the cause of all the ails America... but he SIMPLY ISN'T CLOSING. TONIGHT HE NEEDS TO HAVE A SERIOUS MOMENT... AND CLOSE ON WHY HIS ENTIRE LIFE OF STRICTLY ADHERING TO THE CONSTITUTION HAS BEEN BUILDING UP TO THIS EXACT MOMENT.. and that he is, with out a doubt, the best candidate in either party to lead america into a more peaceful and prosper future.

Listen to McCain.. his entire vocabulary centers around "I'm the man for the job.. I'm ready to be president.. the people know I can turn this country around.. vote for me because I can win against the DEMs.. etc.

Dr. Paul needs to close tonight on Leno.. enough of this "i'm a nice guy, vote for the nice guy" crap. America is in serious trouble right now and demands serious leadership. Paul needs to tell, straight up to the independent, that a vote for Obama or McCain is a vote to continue the war and an aggressive foreign policy. PERIOD.

QFT.

I hope he remembers Tom Cruise's words when he recently appeared on Leno..."Go. Go hard. Just go."

The recent press release from the campaign, and his CNN appearance suggest he might use McCain's "100 years in Iraq" against him. This more than anything proves McCain's running for Bush's third term.

That was the question at that Derry Town Hall. "President Bush has said US troops can stay in Iraq for up to 50 years. What do you..." Didn't even finish the question.

McCain said, "MAKE it 100."

When Tim Russert nervously asked him on MTP, the footage was misleading. You could not see the expressions of audience members - who were aghast - and the audio was dubbed, so it sounded like McCain said, "Maybe."

He needs to speak out against this misguided patriotism. "Fighting them over there" or "spreading Democracy" or "protecting Americans." Ron Paul needs to decisively squash this tonight and go after Obama on civil liberties (he voted for the Patriot Act) and make his economic policy an issue. He should go after McCain on the war.

Obama was not in the Senate when we went into the Iraq war, but his comments on foreign policy, especially about Pakistan, indicate he shares views with the neocons. Ron Paul should definitely talk about Pakistan, and his experience there in the 60's. That is in stark contrast to Obama's ideas favoring more nation building.

There are so many people ready to throw in the towel. I didn't get in this thing to start whining if Ron Paul didn't get 30% in the polls. I am here until the end, when Dr. Paul either makes it all of the way, or decides to do something else.

You know, I can tell a lot of Ron Paul supporters are very young because young people typically give up so easily these days. Americans used to not be such pansies. Some of us still aren't.

Grow some hair on your balls and hang in there. Ron Paul is worth whatever it takes.

well, if you can't place top three in the first two states, there are five other candidates with a better shot at the other 48. you live on another planet, if you think the polls are ENTIRELY fabricated. sure, they don't define a candidate, but votes decide who is POTUS.

this is ridiculous

heard of michigan???

or the other 47 states still to primary, stop trolling and do something for the cause!

Romney's not going anywhere. He's got people positioned at all levels of the electoral process, and will make a strong showing in every state. Even if the people of a given state hate him, because of savvy politicking he'll wrangle delegates out of them, or at least show up 2nd or third in the polls. He has the most formidable campaign machine this cycle - the best money could buy. If his campaign had a better candidate, they'd be unstoppable.

How about...

The official campaign actually spends some of the $20M WE gave THEM to get RP a win?!?!?

How about letting Dr. Paul run his campaign?

It's not like you're the only person who has ever heard of the concept of media coverage.

If you think

that we can win a state in Super Tuesday without ending the old media blockade on RP, you are high. We NEED the old media to take RP seriously if we are going to get the rest of the American public to take him seriously, let alone cast a ballot for him. When I talk to the average person about RP, they have either not heard of him, or they think he is a kook with no chance. This is mostly the kind of coverage he gets from the MSM!!!

New Hampshire is not what will determine if we win or lose.

What matters is SUPER TUESDAY!

Exactly, and until any of the other candidates can consistently get votes, Romney is the only one with the money to do the distance. I agree NH is a big test, because of the amount of effort that has apparently been put into the state. But as long as Dr. Paul continues to pick up delegates and continues to get his message out, he can ride this wave all the way to the convention. But at this point Romney is the main competitor. The others just don't have the funds and will have to rely on the free media exposure.

Did anyone see the post ABC crowd of local reporters that mobbed Dr. Paul? There was genuine interest and enthusiasm at his message! That was the best debate so far, because the audience comprised people representing both parties and independents. You can see it here if you haven't seen it yet:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jr8RMYxhqbw

I was really encouraged to see this. Getting snubbed by Fox was also GREAT exposure, and netted some good interviews and a trip to LA today to do Leno's show. So we're picking up speed, and NH is still very early in the whole process. This is not make or break time yet...

No one is ready to throw in the towel, but come on guys, New Hampshire is key. Ron has been campaigning and spending a ton of money there. The operation live free or die guys have been working there. Everyone has been putting their all into getting us to place good in NH.
Yes, there are a lot more states. But Ron is not going to just magically start winning them! If we can not get New Hampshire with all of the effort that has been put into it, how are we going to get the other states? What are YOU going to do to make sure we win the other states? Blind faith isn't going to win us a damn thing. All that we can count on is hard work and getting the word out there.

Every time Ron doesn't place well in a state, people will write him off MORE. This is all about momentum. We got a solid 10% in Iowa, and that was good. We have to BEAT that in NH now. Do bad in NH, and the media will finally start reporting on Ron. They are gunna say his campaign ran out of steam, and his campaign turned out to be nothing. We have to prove them wrong.

Are we whining like Ron Paul?

When the going gets tough, the wimps start whining. World circumstances work more to our favor every day. We'll do fine in NH. We have money and the will of revolutionaries. Onward!

When America makes a mistake, it needs to correct it, not just keep perpetuating it. That's what Ron Paul says about our invasion of Iraq. The same thing is true of our performance in Iowa. Yeah, we did alright, 10% woohoo....

Did you help raise $20 million so that Ron would settle for 10%? I sure as hell didn't. We raised that money so that he would win the election, and a big part of that is gaining some respect in the press, so that he can get respect from voters.

We can always raise more money from new supporters, but we cannot get these primary votes back. If RP is not perceived as a serious contender going into Super Tuesday, I fear it will all be for nothing. Remember now, there are primaries coming one after another now until Tuesday. We need to move NOW!

I agree 100%

I've got some balls.. I've been going full press since Ron Told Rudy to wake the fuck up and look up what the word blow-back means..

I'm just being realistic here.. hours of media coverage and countless articles in major newspapers WINS THIS.. and how do you get that when neither wants to cover you??

YOU FRIGGIN SURPRISE THEM IN NH.. PERIOD END OF STORY.. Americans are FOLLOWERS for the most part...

Dr. Paul needs to STOP EDUCATING AND START FUCKING CLOSING. Heck, I do a better job at closing then he does when have people over to watch the youtubes and explain, fully, why a vote for Paul is a vote to save america. HQ Should be doing the same..

We need this man.. we need this to break our way.

Couldn't say it better myself. Most voters are sheep and they just accept what the media feeds them at face value with little to no critical analysis.

WRONG! We're in this for the duration. We gave Ron 20 million reasons to stay in this fight. The other candidates are on a much shorter time line. Nobody knows what the field will look like in February or where the support will be. Every day he stays in the race our chances improve.

Get over your need for instant gratification and let this thing play out.

Oh yeah, and all of you naysayers need to STOP SPOUTING FUD.

I agree with the optimistic posts above like aspiringconstitutionalist and daviddee....The other candidates will be punch drunk by Feb. 5 and RP will steadily continue his increase in people who want to join the Revolution. Third will be just fine tomorrow in N.H. Don't forget how well RP could do in NV and SC. Which could domino right thru FL. All great opportunities before Feb. 5th. Like RP says, "This is not the end..this is the beginning!"

The truth is we need 3rd. Placing lower puts us behind 3 candidates in two states. Huckabee, Romney and McCain will all have demostrated they have more support than we do. We have to beat at least Huckabee in NH or the actual run for the Presidency is over and the campaign to continue fighting for the message will continue.

We all knew when we donated and signed up for this that it was going to be a LONG haul. When I signed up, and first donated, I did not even think Dr. Paul had a chance. I signed up and donated because I support his message and I see my donations as nothing more then a way to get that message out to the masses. Win or lose NH, or the election for that matter, will not change the fact that the message got air time. It will not change the fact that we have assembled into a political force. It will forever change the political landscape in this nation though, and as such I am happy to continue to be a part of it.

Part of what is so appealing about Dr Paul is he's not a politician with an inflated ego running on platform his own behavior contradicts. From his voting record, to his manners in debates, interviews, and how he talks to supporters there is a consistency that renders him rational and authentic. Suggesting to compromise his uniqueness which has been a contributing factor to his appeal should at least have more thought put into the pro and cons.

This is not meant as an attack it's just my personal opinion that if people need to see a massive ego in a candidate they probably don't wish to be treated as individuals that are capable of forming their own opinions.
