Face it..We either win or lose this election tommorrow in NH

I'm in this until the end. These first primaries/caucuses are only the first volley in this battle. We have a long road ahead of us, nothing will be given to us, we will have to seize it from the establishment in order to win.

QFT +1000

Apparently, some of you have never fought an uphill battle in your lives. If we're smart, we learn and gain knowledge from our failures that catapult us to our ultimate success. Life is not easy and life is not fair. You take the cards you're dealt and when every card in your hand is the lemon suit, then you make lemonade. Ron Paul is not going away; neither is his message. Any of us is free to jump ship any time we like. Things are going to get a whole lot hotter before this is over.

Yes, everything about campaigns and politics is rigged. Why do you think it's known as a dirty business. For heavens sake, this is nothing new. We're just seeing the high-tech version of it evolve. (Dead voters are so yesterday!) Remember last year when Karl Rove said with defiance that the Republicans were going to win? He knew "the math?" Well, he didn't know the math well enough, and whatever rigging they did was not enough. Everything we do has to be outside of the establishment's margin of error and outside of their limited view of the world. That's why the money bombs and the blimp and the air corp garnered attention--because they were way outside of the box and unexpected.

We can win by an unexpected MOE OR we can win at the convention. However it is that we do it, it will have to be WAY outside of the box and outside of anything that the establishment can imagine. In the meantime, we do everything that we can AND we expose everything while we're at it--like FOX's disgraceful performance and Frank Luntz's little production.

Come on, where's the fighting spirit? Each failure brings us closer to success. How many times did Benjamin Franklin fail? How many times did Thomas Edison fail? Let's snap out of it. For God's sake, let's don't pull a Hillary and let them see us sweat! (I can't believe that Hillary let a few tears flow in NH in front of supporters and reporters!) Let our only tears be tears of joy when we've earned them.

Many years ago in my first election, election night was really ugly. Results from the eastern part of the state flowed in and they were bad. I mean REALLY BAD! That was our strong hold! Then, what do you know, the rest of the state started pouring in from the incumbent's stronghold. And, you know what? We won. Who was the incumbent? We SHOCKED the state. Al Gore's father, Albert, Sr. It can be done, even against all odds.

No matter what, we must hold our heads high, because we represent Dr. Paul and no matter what happens, the fight goes on.

I agree. Absent some catastrophic and catalyzing even – like a new Pearl Harbor.
We may be in it to the end but New Hampshire is crucial.

This is getting old. 2 states do not decide for the other 48, now matter how hard to try to spin it. If he gets fourth tomorrow, it will be viewed as progress by most of us. If he gets fifth, then we're pretty much where we are right now - which is nowhere close to quitting.

When the going gets tough, the wimps start whining. World circumstances work more to our favor every day. We'll do fine in NH. We have money and the will of revolutionaries. Onward!

I fear we may have less results in NH than many people expect, but am working hard to make the results as good as possible.
I said this elsewhere, I'll say it here:

There are plenty of reasons we will do well in NH:
* lots of undecided voters
* lots of support from State Representatives
* Operation Live Free or Die (yaaaay Vijay!!)
* Free State Project (yaaaay porcupines!)

There are plenty of reasons we'll do poorly:
* Ron himself has not been here much compared to other candidates
* Money from moneybombs didn't arrive early enough to make for a campaign proportinate to the size of the war chest
* Independents thinking they are voting for the "underdog" by voting for Obamamamma

If we do great in NH, don't get complacent - KEEP FIGHTING
If we do poorly in NH, don't get discouraged - KEEP FIGHTING

Dr. Paul will keep running as long he has our support. He will quit tomorrow if we decide to quit too. He is doing this for us and we need to keep supporting him. We are a big family, so don't ruin it.

Rush was just talking about how up in the air the entire nomination is. McCain does not have a chance. Past NH he is almost irrelevant. He will do just as much damage to Romney as he will to Ron Paul. If McCain wins Huckabee has the momentum. I how we can beat Huckabee by a sizable margin to hamper some of his support in SC.

Its all up in the air. Also, never give up.

Even if he comes in dead last, take comfort in the fact that you have no choice but to continue.

This is true. We have no alternative. Keep going.
(Though I WOULD love some ammo, like a strong finish or a victory, to help convince others to vote for Ron Paul. It would help tremendously).

The only thing that really matters here is gaining enough new, fresh support. The new support refreshes us and is absolutely needed for continued funding success. Campaigns need money. Isnt it obvious to all of you that RP has planned on running this thing through the duration (september)? Look how many offices he has opened. He has NOT focused all of his time on 1, 2, or three states. He is going after ALL of them.

This is about delegates. Even if Thompson, Rudy, and the rest win more delegates on super tuesday, many of them will likley drop out if they arent an top. Where do those delegates go? A lot of things can and do happen in 8 mos. For those of you expecting some blowout in NH, get over it, it isnt going to happen. Stay realistic.

All we need is NEW support and enthusiasm, and MONEY. I think donations are stale right now because people are waiting for some results. If that is the case, what result will motivate you to donate, and be enthusiastic again? Will 3rd in NH do it? Suppose he comes in 4th but in some twist ends up beating Romney? What if the votes for 2nd place are so unbelievably close between RP, ROM, Huck that the media declares it a TIE.

Remember, this is supposed to be fun. The fun part begins when the tortoise (RP and Us) begins to pass all of the hares dropping dead from exhaustion!!!!!!

One media personality, cant remember who, looks at RPs campaign as "the little engine that could" Thats what we are!

Instead of getting angry over Fox we should use it to our advantage by playing to peoples sympathies. People like the the DOC, there is no question about that, allow them to feel bad for him because the big bad media wont cut him a friggin break. This is supposed to be fun, and if we just unwind a little, we may again realize that we are doing amazing things and people ARE paying attention.

good points made by all... I suppose wanting NH as badly as I do is more of a knee jerk reaction to all of the momentum OBAMA has right now after Iowa and my firm belief that a majority of Americans are simply followers and will vote for whomever they think has the best chance to win on either side so that they can say they voted for "the winner"...

That said.. I would appreciate it if Dr. Paul changed his rhetoric a bit to reflect the real possibility of taking this thing! I mean, Obama keeps talking about how "tomorrow, you can vote to change the way this country goes.. blah blah blah".. Why doesn't Dr. Paul say the same thing.. compel the voter to make that vote for the true candidate of peace and prosperity??

Anyways, I'm not going anywhere, and the number of people I discuss dr. paul with each and every day continues to grow.. I just wish we could get a little HUCKATARD momentum going is all

The only way to end this media black out and get every-day americans to sit up and say, "hey, this guy actually has a shot.. and he sure isn't the status quo, so I'm gonna jump on that bandwagon and go out and vote for him".

So your brilliant conclusion is that we must rely on support from the media to win this election?

It has been a media black-out from the start, and yet we continue to grow exponentially. Screw the media... all we need is votes. So much attention and time is wasted on getting media attention when we could be recruiting more voters.

Get more voters and we'll get more media attention, not the other way around. This revolution does not end with a win or lose in NH. For that matter it doesn't even end when Ron Paul is in the White House. There's a lot of work left to do no matter how NH turns out.

Fully commit to the cause, and you'll realize that there's no stopping this revolution, it's just a matter of how long until it's successful. Even then, it's up to us to work to keep what we have created by teaching and continuing to spread the message of liberty, for the rest of our lives and for generations to come.

Anything less than 3rd.. and the campaign is over.. this much I'm certain of. Dr. Paul, like any good doctor, has determined the cause of all the ails America... but he SIMPLY ISN'T CLOSING. TONIGHT HE NEEDS TO HAVE A SERIOUS MOMENT... AND CLOSE ON WHY HIS ENTIRE LIFE OF STRICTLY ADHERING TO THE CONSTITUTION HAS BEEN BUILDING UP TO THIS EXACT MOMENT.. and that he is, with out a doubt, the best candidate in either party to lead america into a more peaceful and prosper future.

Listen to McCain.. his entire vocabulary centers around "I'm the man for the job.. I'm ready to be president.. the people know I can turn this country around.. vote for me because I can win against the DEMs.. etc.

Dr. Paul needs to close tonight on Leno.. enough of this "i'm a nice guy, vote for the nice guy" crap. America is in serious trouble right now and demands serious leadership. Paul needs to tell, straight up to the independent, that a vote for Obama or McCain is a vote to continue the war and an aggressive foreign policy. PERIOD.

As much as I hate to say it, I 100% agree with you.

If anybody thinks Super Tuesday is the deciding factor, you need to re-evaluate your political skills. The media has really blacked out Paul. They'll continue even through super Tuesday.

If Paul pulls a 3rd ( I pray for 2nd & 1st of course) then he'll get some real recognition and make Fox look like fools.

If Paul sits way back, the media will put him way back. We can raise all the money we want, but if votes aren't there forget it.

That is why Iowa and NH are so important... The diversity between.

I hope some of you will not get a reality check come Tuesday. If Paul is not 3rd, forget it. No media will cover him much. You can't think these little short interviews have equated to the countless hours the media has put to the other candidates. (Like John McCain). If Paul can get that much coverage, he's going to have to prove many of the polls wrong. He needs 3rd. 100% absolutely positively.

BE NERVOUS. FIGHT HARD.. 1/8/08 is the day that makes or breaks the campaign. He's gotta pull 3rd. Anybody within 300 miles of NH should go there now with signs, free "taxis" to the polls etc.

NH is huge but it is not the end all be all.

I swear, some people on this board, if they had been here in the Revolutionary War, would have said "One if by land and two if by sea?? OMG the British are here run away, run away!"

There are so many people ready to throw in the towel. I didn't get in this thing to start whining if Ron Paul didn't get 30% in the polls. I am here until the end, when Dr. Paul either makes it all of the way, or decides to do something else.

You know, I can tell a lot of Ron Paul supporters are very young because young people typically give up so easily these days. Americans used to not be such pansies. Some of us still aren't.

Grow some hair on your balls and hang in there. Ron Paul is worth whatever it takes.

we are aiming for the White house.... 2 states are not gonna stop us.

Clinton lost both the Iowa caucuses and NH... dumb statement to make

I've got some balls.. I've been going full press since Ron Told Rudy to wake the fuck up and look up what the word blow-back means..

I'm just being realistic here.. hours of media coverage and countless articles in major newspapers WINS THIS.. and how do you get that when neither wants to cover you??

YOU FRIGGIN SURPRISE THEM IN NH.. PERIOD END OF STORY.. Americans are FOLLOWERS for the most part...

Dr. Paul needs to STOP EDUCATING AND START FUCKING CLOSING. Heck, I do a better job at closing then he does when have people over to watch the youtubes and explain, fully, why a vote for Paul is a vote to save america. HQ Should be doing the same..

We need this man.. we need this to break our way.

I think it will be very, very hard to win the nomination, if Ron Paul can't win in the most liberty-minded state in the nation. BUT, nothing is over until next summer when the nominee is officially picked. Regardless of what happens in NH, we need to keep going.

This is not over in New Hampshire and let's everybody be positive. We are not done if he doesn't come in third. But I tell you all that we are done if after tomorrow and all this yakking about polls and PR and all this crap and no one goes out and organizes caucuses and learns the rules in their states and organized for caucuses and primaries.
WE NEED NATIONAL CONVENTION DELEGATES folks. The only way you get them is buy knowing the rules in your state and organizing around them Get out there and get people to the caucuses and the polls. That is the key. We don't do that then it's over.
