We've been putting in some good work in the state. The national campaign set up camp and put in some work too.

Paul will be in Kansas on Friday and Saturday (caucus day).

Friday:
12pm - Topeka
3pm Wichita
7pm - Lawrence

Saturday
(I think)
4 different caucus locations in Johnson County where 28,000 voters are expected.

I'll be at one of those 4 locations... and if there's an official thread, I may be able to do some live reporting to you all.

I think 2nd place wouldn't be far fetched, but I also can't figure out who the other's will vote for. I don't see many signs out at all. I think it could be a close race and that 20% is do-able.

If PFH is calling Kansas.... get on it!

I will be in Topeka for Shawnee County. Super bummed I wont be able to see Ron today due to a test...ugh. So close.

Lucky for you guys. We couldn't get the campaign to give us a bone at all in Nebraska, after repeated phone calls and emails. So our (county) delegates now are already chosen, for better or worse, and no thanks to the campaign. >:-( Best of luck to you guys in Kansas.

Well Kansas is a southern state so Newt should do well with them. So maybe we can grab first or second. Then have Mitt get third.

I don't really think Kansas would be considered "southern," more like Iowa I think except more socially conservative.

Yeah, we aren't really a Southern state. We are midwest. Similar to Nebraska, Missouri, Iowa, South Dakota, etc.

I could see Santorum winning the state. But I could also see it being a really tight race between all 4 candidates.

I've got my street covered.... 6 Paul signs in a row. (I went overboard because 2 full signs, 1 car magnet, and the metal poll from one sign have already been stolen so far).

This time tomorrow I will be setting up camp at my local caucus site. Good luck everyone and thanks to all those who have helped spread the message here!

Everyone in KS should be working around the clock. Pass out flyers, brochures, word of mouth. ANything we can do. We need to set a realistic goal of 20%

and most importantly get a DELEGATE SPOT!!!!

Newt has abandoned Kansas, he was supposed to be at the same Tea Party place Ron will be out and cancelled that appearance and others. (mind you, his supporters who bought tickets to that already have them, so he will still be big in their straw poll) I think Santorum is the main competitionl in Kansas, that and that party insiders are like cockroaches, everywhere, under the radar, so Romney will have decent support.

Ron needs 20% to get delegates this time. I don't know what his internal polling there is like.

shameless plug of my projected Kansas map...

My city is located in the SEK Regional caucus area. We hold our caucus in a single location for all of those counties bordered in red. I have heard that there will be a grassroots liberty bus running around picking up voters and handing out literature to the passengers in this area, so that's exciting! :D

I'm in Johnson county where Dr. Paul will be tomorrow. I've already gotten 3 robo calls from Santorum - all calls attacking Romney and asking me to vote for the true conservative. So I will go and vote for the true conservative - Dr. Paul!

We have 6 votes in my household tomorrow for Dr. Paul!

Tonight, we are going to the rally at KU. I'm encouraging all I know to go.

Oh,and no, we don't think of ourselves as Southerners. We are "free" state Kansans.

My fiancee and I will also be in Lawrence tonight. We're in Wyandotte county.

I've got 6 votes in family counting myself as well for District 3.

They say to have her hair done Liz flies all the way to France
And Jackie's seen in a discotheque doin' a brand new dance
And the White House social season should be glittering and gay
But here in Topeka the rain is a fallin'
The faucet is a drippin' and the kids are a bawlin'
One of them a toddlin' and one is a crawlin' and one's on the way
I'm glad that Raquel Welch just signed a million dollar pact
And Debbie's out in Vegas workin' up a brand new act
While the TV's showin' Newlyweds a real fun game to play
But here in Topeka the screen door's a bangin'
The coffee's boilin' over and the wash needs a hangin'
One wants a cookie and one wants a changin' and one's on the way
Now what was I doin' Jimmy get away from there darn there goes the phone
Hello honey what's that you say you're bringin' a few ole buddies home
You're callin' from a barn get away from there
No not you honey I was talkin' to the baby wait a minute honey the door bell
Honey could you stop at the market and hello hello well I'll be
The girls in New York City they all march for women's lib
And Better Homes and Gardens shows the modern way to live
And the pill may change the world tomorrow but meanwhile today
Here in Topeka the flies are a buzzin'
The dog is a barkin' and the floor needs a scrubbin'
One needs a spankin' and one needs a huggin' Lord one's on the way
Oh gee I hope it ain't twins again

But here in Topeka the rain is a fallin'
The faucet is a drippin' and the kids are a bawlin'
One of them a toddlin' and one is a crawlin' and one's on the way

A summation of Kansas music culture :(
