Donald Trump rockets to top of polls

I thought Rand was in trouble when Limberbutt McCubbins entered the race (from Rand's own state no less, as if being a cat wasn't competition enough).

..but now that Trump is gaining momentum I think we just need to go ahead with the Rand Paul sex tape.

Pre- flip-flop positions? I don't understand. How did Rand flip-flop? I thought these were still the positions he holds today? I thought Rand has always said secure the borders first, and allow for a pathway to citizenship?

You are riding so hard on Trump's nuts that you failed to see that he has flip flopped too!

National Review‘s Jonah Goldberg rips the veil off Trump’s alleged nativism in a by turns anguished-and-amused plea to his fellow conservatives not to be taken in by The Donald’s act:

“You seem to think he’s an immigration hardliner, and he’s certainly pretending to be. But why can’t you see through it? He condemned Mitt Romney as an immigration hardliner in 2012 and favored comprehensive immigration reform. He told Bill O’Reilly he was in favor of a ‘path to citizenship’ for 30 million illegal immigrants:

“Trump: ‘You have to give them a path. You have 20 million, 30 million, nobody knows what it is. It used to be 11 million. Now, today I hear it’s 11, but I don’t think it’s 11. I actually heard you probably have 30 million. You have to give them a path, and you have to make it possible for them to succeed. You have to do that.’

“Question: Just how many rapists and drug dealers did Donald Trump want to give green cards to?

No, I saw that. It doesn't change the fact of the statement on what Trump is getting attention.

Do you have a video of that RT interview that hasn't been chopped up or edited?

No, I saw that. It doesn't change the fact of the statement on what Trump is getting attention.

So you make a post calling out Rand Paul for flip-flopping but you totally neglect the fact that your boy flipped flopped too!

Not a long videoclip the OP posts . . . haven't really thought of Rand as flip-flopping on immigration -
sounds like that could be a parsing of words to mis-characterize Rand's position (?), but correct me/or us.

So in that 55 sec. videoclip . . . I like the idea of an underground electric fence - if engineering is plausible
with all the tunnelling under the border - including tunnelling like el Chapo maximum security prison escape.

Butr impressed enough at Rand's Spanish (soundbites) . . .

also, with Chrome web browser - maybe others browsers too - other youtubes come up automatically -
Ron Paul on immigration sure looks good here, alot of applause in both:

The point is what Trump is getting attention on. The title is of the original source, I didn't make it.

I haven't really been paying attention to Trump. Am I to understand that he no longer favors a "pathway to citizenship"?

I should seriously consider buying Razor stocks, the fan boys catch a wind of this duzzy and they might just start slashing their wrists. Or maybe they are too deluded and would just think it was just something he had to say to keep the government out of his business.

Rand is still for electrical fences? Holy shit no wonder young libertarians are skeptical of him

Think it's time for some donaldtrumpforums.com. More material and a hotter flash in the pan than Fred Thompson ever was.
