I do. Often too. And before you get smart, I'm a pretty tough guy. I can take a lot and have taken a lot in my 57 years on this planet. But when I see this guy in certain settings, that's it, I get tears in my eyes. Have a problem with that?

Heh Heh

Like this one as soon as I saw him walking toward the stage and all the people shouting Ron Paul! And there I go again http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6oUGDVfNLs

Or when I saw the BILLBOARD over in Palm Beach County, or the people in the parade on Calle Ocho ( You know who and where you are :D ), the thousands and thousands of us all around America and even in the world ( stay tuned on a pic coming in from Vietnam )(soon as the bumper stickers arrive there I promise you an image of a relative of mine sporting a RP tshirt and a bumper sticker on his motorbike in Saigon )( no it is not hcmc it's Saigon for over 300 years and will always be Saigon ). And I also tear up although not happy tears when I see the bastards in the press and gop "diss" ( right spelling younger persons? ) Dr Paul, diss all of y'all and diss our Liberty. Those would not be happy tears or emotions when I see that. But on everything else, what an incredible feeling to know there's actually a LOT of us out there!

G-d bless you all in the RP/Liberty movement. May we all live to see a free country one day.

I nearly did yesterday hearing him live in OKC. There were a couple of times it felt surreal. His message is completely unwavering and true to the core.

It's becoming a daily occurrence for me. Whenever I see crowds freaking out over Ron, the troop march, when Ron yelled "END THE FED!!" during the New Hampshire speech, etc. It's a combination of joy and a swelling of pride, and it's starting to annoy me (j/k). I'm a chick, but I'm not normally emotional. It just makes me happy to see a man who has fought for so long FINALLY getting the recognition he deserves. I am so proud of him and honored to support him!!

edit: I already know I'm going to tear up when I get to cast my vote for him.

I can just think about what's going on with the movement and Think about what Dr Paul has accomplished, and my throat gets all lumpy.

Any time there is a massive crowd cheering and he puts his hands up with that half grin of his.

For SURE. And just to prove it to myself, I had to go and youtube the speech at the Rally for the Republic.

And now I gotta go and "take a shower" before my wife comes in and makes fun of me.

<cough>

Great post, Tudo.
And in my humble opinion, it's the strong who allow theirselves to be moved to tears.
The weak look away, too afraid to feel.
A lot of strong folks in this movement.
I'm so grateful for you all.

I do too...I even feel ashamed for having been on the other side of the Liberty issue. Having once held the same veiws as your typical Statist Warmonger it is a personal source of shame. Moreover, its not that I held those beliefs. Its that I didn't have..how you say....critical thinking...to discredit those beliefs by myself. I had to hear it and gather more and more information to come to where I am today. Someone had to tell me I was wrong and point the way. I didn't know what Liberty was. I even fear that if it were not for the internets and Ron Paul himself...I would still be a statist. Yes I tear up more than I'd like to say. As I hear him speak...listen to others and read what they call news its...frustrating. Its like he is tring to tell us we can make circles and yet they (the system) restricts us to only being able to use an etch a sketch with wornout knobs.

I do it all the time. No one inspires me more than Dr Paul. The guy is just my hero and I hold him in the highest regard. But I also love my country so much and I see what's been happening to our freedom, our safety and our prosperity. We obviously in decline and I can't think of anyone else who stands up for what we're supposed to be more than Ron Paul. Maybe after he's dead and gone then people will realize what we had and the opportunity we squandered. I hope not. But I get a feeling that this may be our last chance to preserve this country for our children and knowing that often brings tears to my eyes.
