Do we have any Muslims here?

I think he was one of the ones who probably did. We had a really good poster, Iyad ElBagdhadi (sp?), who posted here a lot. BlackTerrell probably didn't help much either, but I don't recall all the specifics.

Yeah I'd like to go back and see that. I'd also like you to post some of my "anti-Muslim" comments. Would love to see them

I remember ElBaghdadi well and rarely did we get into arguments even if I disagreed with him on a few topics. He did get into heated discussion with the conspiracy theorists here.

I remember at least one. I think his name was Muwahid or something like that.

Of course he did!

I remember the last time he posted, I pointed out that the execution of homosexuals, which is prescribed in Sharia, is not a liberty position. He was defending it. And then other people starting piling on and calling him out for it. It wasn't me.

Don't recall the specifics, as I stated, but I am speculating that you were one of them because you're so vehemently anti-everyreligionthatisn'tyours, very insulting and very persistent about it.

Even if I had a good enough connection to look up your posts, I wouldn't do it, because they just piss me off. And I'm not even religious. You and Eduardo are the main religious posters who would leave me with the impression that to be religious is to be angry, rude and close-minded.

I'm anti every religion that isn't mine? Since when? Do you even know what my religion is because I'm not even sure what I would call it.

I can specifically recall quite a few threads where I've defended Catholics, Mormons, Jews none of which are my religion. I was raised Baptist and I don't even consider myself that any more.

You've been anti-Muslim quite a bit.

I don't remember it going that way but it's possible that I am remembering it wrongly.

I remember the last Muslim here...I forget his name...defending the execution of homosexuals as a "liberty" position. Is that something you support?

There were --- and are --- a number of Christians who support that position as well. I can't think of any atheists who are quite as excited about that stance, but there may be a few.

Over the years I've only ever seen one Christian advocate that position. He denies it now, though, or at least changes the subject very quickly.

I'm not using it as a position to condemn the faith as a whole, but to point out the idiocy of using one "Muslim poster" as an icon for an entire religion based on his defense of killing homosexuals. I've known more than one vocal look-at-me-Christian sort of person on RPFs who has called for the same. I am not even counting the vague sort of "the world would be better without the LGBTs" statement; that's not a threat or a discussion of actual killing. I am thinking purely of those who believe executions or long term incarceration are warranted.

Oh yeah, he got into some real rows with people here. Sometimes he was the really aggressive one, many other times, not.

He believed that any Muslim who converted to Christianity was a traitor and should be executed.

You've been anti-Muslim quite a bit.

A second ago I was anti every religion that wasn't mine? Now it's just Muslim? Which is it?

And find me one quote where I was anti-Muslim.

I posted about sentence of death for Muslims who convert to Christianity in Iran - that doesn't make one anti-Muslim.

The other forum that I regularly frequently, TheologyOnlineForum, is full of theonomic reconstructionists. There are a bunch of them over there. Also a ton of open theists and Mid-Acts Dispensationalists.

I think there's only one theonomic reconstructionist on here, and even then, his focus is a lot different than that of the theonomic reconstructionists on TOL.

I haven't actually ever seen anyone advocate execution of homosexual on here, I've just heard of Theocrat advocating it, but never actually read the posts myself. I think I've seen people advocating long-term incarceration of homosexuals, I don't agree with that position either. I do, however, believe public homosexual acts should be illegal, but I don't think long-term (or in 99% of cases even short term) incarceration is an appropriate punishment. I certainly don't think someone should go to jail for simply being a homosexual.

Theo didn't just post it. He very kindly told me so in real time via Skype. Oh and he also used to mention it in chat.

There have been others, though, and I don't want to make it seem like it's all Theo all the time on that one.

Theocrat does take that position, but as I said, it wasn't something he discusses. I wasn't going to use his name, again, because its not something he normally discusses. I'm pretty sure he doesn't advocate doing that now though, if I understand his position correctly, that's a long term goal for him, and he only supports doing it locally. Which, I'm sure he knows it wouldn't ever happen in every community. Whereas, some of the theonomic reconstructionists on TOL don't really care about the constitution at all. Although, even among theonomic reconstructionists there seems to be a variety. I've seen people who would claim to be theonomists that completely agree with Ron Paul on foreign policy, and some that would take the opposite positions as him in foreign policy, and some things in the middle.

Pretty sure expatpaki was Muslim.
Yeaw he was the one that thought it was fine to kill Christian preachers that even talked to Muslim youth. He applauded it. Also he approved of jailing the Christian lover of a Muslim because it was for their own protection otherwise the Muslims would kill the Christian. He also thought it was perfectly fine for muslim counties to interfere in neighboring countries.
