Confirmed: US citizen among those killed in Gaza flotilla raid

Ah, Good we are getting some where.
So then, Turkey and any other nation with Nationals involved would be perfectly justified in retaliation against Israel. Correct?

Sure, if they want to escalate the situation. Israel and Egypt are in a state of war with Gaza, and if Turkey or any other country wish to intervene on the part of Gaza, they will be commiting acts of war against Israel.

I think non-intervention is the best policy, but support what you will.

We went to war because Wilson wanted to "make the world safe for democracy". The Lusitania was a false flag operation, and Wilson knew the ship stood a good chance of being sunk. In fact, the German government explicitly warned the U.S. not to send the Lusitania to England.

Wow, John Taylor. You might want to read a little more history. :(

I understand that,, but we are talking about the legality of attacking shipping in International waters.
And the False Flag (or deception of the American Public) was not revealed for many years.

Including the U.S.?

The U.S. COULD intervene, but such an intervention would be an act of war, and would be contrary to the non-interventionist foreign policy of the founders and of limited government.

So you are an interventionist hawk when it comes to attacking Israel? Interesting.

I don't think that the U.S. government should have done anything over the Corrie death. Give me a break. If I decide to pack my bags tomorrow and head to Sudan to help save the black Christians from being attacked by the Arab Muslims, and I get killed in the process, should the U.S. government make a deal out of it by condemning the government of Sudan who is paying for these Arab headhunters? No. Of course not. It is my own fault.

You play with fire and you get burned. Ron Paul has stated that the U.S. government should be non-interventionist, but that U.S. citizens can do whatever they want to do (and he used going over to fight WWI as an example). However, Ron Paul said that if a U.S. citizen chooses intervention (like the hypothetical soldier going to fight against Germany in WWI, or the real case scenario of Corrie), and they get into trouble, it is not the job of the U.S. government to bail them out. You suffer the consequences of your own mistake.

Yes, and the investigators made a good case for not even seeing her. The bulldozer driver has only a small slit to see out of, and she was below his line of sight.

She's a martyr, that's more than most of us get when we die.

Where was shipping attacked? I didn't see any torpedoing, or bombing, I saw a request to be inspected by either Egypt or Israel rebuffed by people seeking a confrontation, followed by as peaceful and non-violent an enforcement of the blockade as possible.

It's going to be interesting to see what happens with the Rachael Corrie ship that's headed for Gaza.

He's actually correct on this point.

Oh no. World War I had nothing to do with democracy... that's just what they want people to believe. WWI was fought for money. WWI couldn't have happened without fiat money, and that is why it broke out shortly after the federal reserve act.

Who ever said the war had anything to do with democracy? You don't read so well do you??? I said, President Wilson got the U.S. into the war by arguing that the U.S. needed to "make the world safe for democracy." That IS A FACT.

John, why didn't the Israeli's disable the engine and tow to port? Seems they made a spectacle out of the situation just as much as the protesters did.

I have not shown reports that have confirmed or denied if tear gas was thrown on the boat, or shot at before the soldiers deployed onto the boat. It would make sense though, which is why the protesters were taking such a defensive nature when the commandos boarded.

I also can't put together why 5 of the other ships obliged, but we have this one rogue ship that didnt?

So you cannot say for certain if the Israeli army was justified.

Defensive posture??? You mean offensive? Watch the videos!

The Israelis and Egyptians offered to transport all the humanitarian aid to Gaza, but insisted that the cargos be inspected, as Israel and Egypt are in a state of war with Gaza, and have had Gaza under a blockade for some years.

You should. The Lusitania was an excuse for Wilson to get the U.S. into the war he had campaigned in 1916 to keep "American boys out of".

Paul Warburg, Chairman of the Federal Reserve, financed the U.S. and the same international bankers financed the Germans with Paul's brother Max Warburg as head of the German Secret Service. WWI was fought to make international bankers rich. And it did.

It will have to dock at an Israeli or Egyptian port and have its cargo inspected.

What would you think?

The Irish government has stated if anything happens to the ship there will be serious consequences; same with Turkey. Actually Turkey is being escorted by military vessels.

If Israel is smart they won't pull the same antics they did last time, but since when has Israel been rational about anything, or anyone in the Middle-East for that matter. I'm sure it will turn into a cluster fuck like everything else.

Ok, and this goes to show that President Wilson did not tell the American people that the U.S. was going to war to "make the world safe for democracy" how???

Understood.

The Flotilla was attacked and boarded in International Waters outside the blockade area.

The blockade has been judged as illegal under the Geneva Convention.

The shipping was under NO obligation to respond to any demands in International Waters.
