CA - White woman calls cops on black family BBQing in a "prohibited area"

I didn't see your post before, but I'm glad I'm not the only one who had that feeling. The other video of a lawyer raging about people speaking Spanish also has a very fake feel to it.

The baiting is real..
There are racists on all sides,, (people who accept the multiple race theory)

I had thought Obama was promoted and installed to provoke,, but it has skyrocketed since he left.

It is very obviously being instigated and promoted. and I find myself speaking against stupidity that should be understood by now.

Some may be real and the media pounce on them because they fit their agenda but others may very well be manufactured.

I agree completely.

I'm not saying that racism doesn't exist. I know it does. But I think it's obvious that there's an agenda to pit groups against eachother, as well as keep us distracted. When it comes to race, in recent years if they're not handpicking certain news stories to foment division, they will outright create stories or events for that purpose. And recently, some of these incidents feel so freakin fake to me.

Plus, remember that propaganda is basically legal.

Operation Mockingbird is real.. Not a theory..

And it is out in the open. If it ever was ended,, it was restarted under Bush. reinvigorated at least.

It is officially epic now.

Oh, this is precious.

The state encourages you to be a good eco-fink and rat out your neighbors for environmental crime, unless of course, you're an ethnically European white person and the eco-criminals are any one of a hundred politically superior and protected aggrieved ethnic groups.

Then, you'd better keep your racist mouth shut.

You're sure the mountains, oceans and 70 degrees all year long is worth it?

The woman identified as Jennifer Schulte.

Schulte works as a senior project manager at an environmental resources and services company in Oakland, according to her Linkedin profile. Her work focuses on air quality. She is also a climate change technical specialist. She previously worked at Horizon Water and Environment, URS Corporation and Environ International Corporation.

An announcement for a 2016 meeting of the American Petroleum Institute shows that Schulte gave a talk titled “OEHHA Revised Risk Assessment Methods: Developing a Facility Game Plan” for the organization. “Dr. Jennifer Schulte is a Senior Project Manager with ERM based in Walnut Creek, California. She has 10 years of experience as an air quality and climate change specialist, and is a recognized expert in the fields of air quality, emission estimation, air dispersion modeling, health risk assessments, and climate change impacts,” the website said. “Dr. Schulte has conducted complex projects throughout California, the United States, and some international locations involving air emission inventories, air dispersion modeling, health risk assessments, and climate change analyses for numerous clients including commercial and residential development projects, ports, transportation, refineries, and various other industrial areas. She conducts air quality and climate change analyses for regulatory compliance, environmental studies required for CEQA and NEPA, and litigation support.”

She embodies the very worst of the worst sort of eco-creepiness, Safety Nazism and Cloverism.

I hope she is getting a gutful of this and loses her position.

Am I the only one who thinks this whole incident feels kinda fake? So a woman calls the cops on some black people, and it just so happens that someone is there to film the whole thing? And she doesn't mind being filmed?

What's interesting is that apparently there's a bunch of these types of incidents recently, all of which have gone viral. Gee, it sure seems like someone is trying to fan the flames of racial division and/or keep us distracted from other things going on in the world.

I didn't even watch the whole video, but the few minutes I did watch feel kinda staged to me.

It is fake news. The woman did not call because they were black. She called because she works in the environmental industry creating and enforcing fatwas.

The race baiting, which is the story given by most of the media and race industry, is fake.

It's the blatant lies by the media that are the biggest outrage from this story.

It is a minor side story that this air pollution and global warming commissar may think twice about her petty enforcement attitude.

It's been unusually windy lately, where can I go to avoid that?

You can't just sleep in the common areas all the time. That is definitely against the rules.

A white person being wrong about the rules = racism. How the $#@! does your brain come up with that bull$#@!? The point is, that chick would have called the cops if a shady white lady was sleeping in the common area too. What does this have to do with race??

It isn't worse than you thinking it is okay to call the cops on someone for taking a nap, rules be damned. He may or may not just be wrong about racism. You're justifying an action that could get someone murdered for the nonviolent "crime" of taking a nap. You're definitely more in the wrong here, by far. Reminds me of people who say people should be imprisoned for breaking other nonviolent rules, like smoking a joint. Just exactly when did you trade your shoes in for jackboots?

And specifically fatwas enforcing bans on outdoor burning and particulate emissions (that's called smoke) and so on.

I'm pretty sure all dannno is saying here is that, in the case of the OP, this woman's actions doe not automatically mean "racism", which is what the fake news would have you believe.

There may be any number of authoritarian "isms" at work in her mind, but racism is most likely not one of them.

She would have called cops on white folks just as quick, perhaps even more quickly, because only a fool would assume there would be no cries of racism following such an encounter with black folks in today's climate.

Pipe down prole, and enjoy yer freedom.

Yeah, I always get a laugh when I read those park signs. That's one reason I hate big cities. You can't really blame the city though, most of those rules are driven by lawsuits.

Just going to add that just because its a govt regulation doesn't mean that there isn't a valid reason behind it. In my private apt building, it is against the rules to BBQ on the balcony because it is made of wood. Very valid and reasonable rule implemented to prevent apt fires.

That isn't a government regulation. A government regulation would be banning all grilling on wood balconies, except for the brands of grills that meet government safety standards (pay the bribe). Which then leads the ever informed public to believe that grilling on wood balconies is safe as long as they have a government approved grill. I think it would work out well. Let's do it.

Why are there dorm sleepers in the BBQ thread?

Because the BBQ case is closed. It is dangerous to have people grilling wherever they want to. It would be like turning wild animals loose to run through the city streets. I'm thankful the public servants were able to keep the situation from getting out of hand.

I wonder who is more inclined to call police over statutory and regulatory violations...white folk or black folk?

I doubt there are any stats anywhere, but it would have to be white people. Most black people I know never trusted police, even long before the whole media frenzy the last few years.

Thank the Gods, I don't have to worry about rogue BBQ's in muh park. I feel safer.

I never said they should have called the police, I'm just saying that the media is insane and they are clearly pushing these stories to race bait..

Ya this is it exactly.. I would never call the cops or any type of authority on someone for, say, bbqing in the park, regardless of whether it was against the rules or not.

And it turned out the lady who called the cops on the people bbqing was a leftist climate change activist, clearly NOT a racist as the media was portraying her.
