I know, I know...a lot of people are going to say "are you crazy?" Or "she will not put herself out there like that!" But this would be MAJOR news to me. I do not see her endorsing any other candidates, truthfully. She cannot sit there and say she is against the status quo, then say she supports Rick Perry or Mitt Romney for President. That wouldn't make too much sense. Also, as we all know...there is a feud between Bachmann and Palin. So that won't happen. We all must understand, shes a businesswoman now...and SOMETIMES, you have to take risks. But if you really look at the poll numbers, Ron isn't THAT much of a risk. His numbers have steadily increased, while others have decrease. The only reason Gov. Perry is so high is because he is fresh. Look at Cain, that could happen to Perry once he is vetted a little more (just not as severely). If Sarah Palin just plays it safe all the time, her image/brand would lose its thunder. Everyone, including Palin, needs to take risks or do spontaneous things (like the Bus Tour) and make things interesting. Can you honestly sit there and say that for her to sit and wait for a clear frontrunner, then come out and support them, keeps her interesting? No, it doesn't. It makes her predictable. Moreover, what does she have to lose by endorsing Ron? Say Ron doesn't win (which I think he will), she can then just get behind the GOP nominee anyway. No harm, no foul. Now, when Sept 3rd comes, I could be made to look like a fool, but ya know what? Who cares!? Again, Palin's MAJOR announcement in Iowa will go something like this, "I am endorsing Congressman Ron Paul for President of the United States of America."

Right guys...right? Amiright? Amiright?

One more point on the point that she has nothing to do lose for supporting Ron and if he loses, a different candidate. She can make that candidate, the one who she endorses if Ron loses, would make that person look more anti-establishment. Reason? Because she endorsed Ron first.

Every now and then Ill spam her on twitter about paul and tell her she could be a gop kingmaker for life if she endorses ron paul now while his momentum is still up and he wins the nomination and presidency.

Did not apply when she endorsed Rand.

Yes it did.

He had a meeting with James Dobson where he assured him of his support for Israel. It was clearly a litmus test that was applied to him. And whatever he said, he passed the test.

It would destroy Perry and Bachmann, but I can't imagine her doing that without expecting something in return (VP?)

She would be toxic for us in the general. If she doesn't run, she'll endorse Perry.

I don't share your optimism but I do agree with your enthusiasm.

A Palin endorsement would be huge, and a Paul/Palin ticket would seem to me an unbeatable combination.

It could even address the issue of Ron Pauls age, which WILL be a BIG issue should he win the nomination.

But of course all this depends upon the two principals involved and whether or not their principles are congruent enough.

And yes, I just deliberately used principal and principle correctly in the same sentence.

Sometimes I even impress myself, but this isn't one of those times ;)

I don't think she is expecting or wanting a VP tag. I think she is purely a businesswoman...and this would be huge for her. Could you imagine how she would look if she endorses Ron and he wins the GOP Nomination?

Beltway insiders say the Sept 3rd thing is a prelude to to a late Sept. announcement that Palin will run for Pres.

Not sure about that, but I see her endorsing Perry before Paul.

She might announce nothing at this point. Just be looking for career publicity, but I would shocked - and VERY pleased if she endorsed RP.

This is what I would expect. The GOP just keeps throwing noodles at the wall to see what will stick.
