IOU 1 +rep, Clay.

Got him for you.

And this is insane that people can actually be getting upset at some of us for being skeptical at this story, after first dumping the body at sea with no independent verification whatsoever and now refusing to release photos of the body, which, by my reckoning, cost us, the taxpayers trillions of dollars, not to mention the blood and loss of liberty.

We fucking own those photos, and government has no right to "hide" them from us, the rightful owners.

This whole thing is now stinking as bad as three day old fish.

THIS I will agree with. You and I rarely see eye to eye (except for our support for Ron), but this I agree with 100%. These photos BELONG TO US, we PAID FOR THEM, American citizens/taxpayers TOOK them. They are PUBLIC property.

Plus, besides the whole argument from logic, releasing them might help quell the conspiracy theories.

By that logic, we should have access to a live stream of the Situation Room.

False choice fallacy. You ignore the fact that Obama has not articulated any secret that must be maintained. It's not like anyone is asking for pictures of the kill team, just pictures of the victim.

WHERE'S THE FLIPPING BODY? .... errr WHERE ARE THE FLIPPING PHOTOS OF BODY? .... errr WHERE'S THE IMPEACHMENT PROCEEDINGS?

Osama bin Laden dead: Blackout during raid on bin Laden compound

The head of the CIA admitted yesterday that there was no live video footage of the raid on Osama bin Laden's compound as further doubts emerged about the US version of events. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/wor...ackout-during-raid-on-bin-Laden-compound.html

Osama Bin Laden dead: White House backtracks on how bin Laden died
The White House admitted last night that its initial account of the way Osama bin Laden died at the hands of US forces had been riddled with errors. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/wor...e-House-backtracks-on-how-bin-Laden-died.html

There are no bullet holes in the room where the unarmed bin Laden was gunned down. He didn’t live in luxury, and that million-dollar mansion turns out to be a moldy, run-down $250,000 place at most, and un-air conditioned. His unarmed wife, whom the Cheney-trained Seals also shot, is now in a Pakistani hospital, but the US is demanding to “interrogate” (i.e., torture) her. So far the Pakistanis are saying no. Will the US also seek to kidnap his 12-year-old daughter, who saw her father and brother executed? Surely much valuable evidence can be gleaned from her, even if she does die under questioning. No worries. She is a subhuman. Oh, and now we’re told that the rich bin Laden had a laughable $750 in Euros “sewn” into his clothes (in a pocket?) along with two phone numbers, which he couldn’t memorize. Also: there were no weapons at all in the entire “compound.”

UPDATE from Dan Chapman:

I have wondered if he wasn’t tortured before being killed and hence the “burial” at sea. There are any number of reasons for quickly disposing of the body vs. bringing it for more verification, but torture is certainly a reason to dispose of the evidence. We will probably never know how long he may have actually been in custody before being killed.

At this point anyone who believes the "official story" should be laughed out of this forum.

I think it is about 75/25 in the wild.
I suspect there are some shills skewing results here.

Yeah, that result, 75% believe a conspiracy is involved, would be very close to an informal poll taken on Coast to Coast AM just a day ago.

So wait.

There was no live footage? So what was Obama and that whole team watching? A photographer making a photo op picture?

And now there was no weapons in the compound?

Maybe it's because the 2nd option states he was dead a decade ago rather than just saying "dunno".

I didn't vote because of that reason.

I don't like the poll options. I don't necessarily think he's been dead for a decade. I don't know what the answer to that part is. But through rationalizing what we've been told, I can tell you that I absolutely believe there is a cover up of some kind going on, and it may be a lot bigger than just Osama's death.

1. Their military budget is threatened and they needed to scare those in congress wanting cuts (think about how they managed to pass the banker bailout packages with threats of economy collapse). A few future blowback activities (real or contrived) would serve the purpose of swaying congress.

2. Obama and Co. needed a win so the people had a reason to support him in 2012.

Yes, agreed.

3. Not bagging OBL after a trillion dollar war was becoming a liability as opposed to a justification.

I had not considered this. An astute observation.

4. Reignite the people's patriotism and their will for war (one just has to watch the video of the buffoons celebrating to see how well that worked out).

5. Reignite the patriotism of those serving in the military and their will for war.

This is so sadly the case. At times the depths of common human stupidity leave me at the steps of despair.

6. Further stirring the middle east hornets nest in hopes of major retaliation....."they" want WWIII.

I have never quite understood this. Why want this? This is utter insanity.

7. If # 6 doesn't happen.....they will be performing false flag ops in the US themselves in the near future and will be saying they happened in retaliation of killing OBL.

Of course.

I think he was killed in the raid a few days ago. Until I see facts that say otherwise, at this point it is wild conspiracy therories for the sake of it. I think its fun to speculate and to guess but outside the internet the real world waits.

Yah, just like those wild conspiracy theories about how Pat Tillman died.

The USG would never lie to us.

Shouldn't the burden of proof lie on those who make outlandish claims (such as claiming to kill bin Laden without providing any physical or photographic evidence) rather than those questioning the claims?

Interesting, and you are of course welcome to your beliefs.
But what would make you believe that an old man with a terminal illness would have survived this long?

Short of some miracle.

Looks like they've already covered their tracks on this smoking gun. Either that or U.S. intelligence has essentially admitted how worthless it is.

lol! How about the facts that support their side of the story? What makes it true? 'Cause the 'news' said so?
