BENGHAZI

The intervenionists have no shame. Failures like this just spurr them on. They want more! Onwards to Syria!

Frankly i'm amazed that actual professionals at the State Dept and people like Stevens put themselves at risk like this and they seriously believe they're "serving their country" by meddling in other nations.

These people invariably have college degrees and masters degree's. You'd think they'd be a bit smarter than this?

As Hollywood pointed out for people like Clinton it's just about a photo opp but people like Stevens and the naive folk at State dept. seem to buy into the propaganda that they're helping/saving the world when in fact they're causing serious problems.

I think it's partly because a lot of them worship The State, and they are serving their masters. I bet some of them don't even realize they worship The State and are easily distracted.

Infowars has a good sourced report;-

-
Retired Lt. General William Boykin said in January that Stevens was in Benghazi as part of an effort to arm al-Qaeda, what the corporate media calls the rebels. “More supposition was that he was now funneling guns to the rebel forces in Syria, using essentially the Turks to facilitate that. Was that occurring, (a), and if so, was it a legal covert action?” Boykin said during an interview with CNS News.

Boykin said Stevens was “given a directive to support the Syrian rebels” and the State Department’s Special Mission Compound in Benghazi “would be the hub of that activity.”

Congress not even touching this.

Hahah look at this.. absolutely no shame;

-
Sen. Lindsey Graham said Wednesday the Benghazi attack shows a “light footprint” approach to handling the reverberations of the Arab Spring isn’t working.

“It’s, I think, a foreign policy gone wrong here,” the South Carolina Republican said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” hours before a congressional hearing on the administration’s handling of the attacks on the U.S. facility in Benghazi. “Syria, Libya, Egypt, I think the greater story is that the light footprint approach to the Mideast in a time of turmoil is not working.”

So the failure of intervention is more intervention.

It's amazing how incoherent these f*cks are.

Turkey and Syria? You have to have all the pieces before you can put them together...

Now what kind of deals could go down with Turkey? And which Syrian rebels specifically? There's something happening in Turkey right now that is being called "historic", but you won't find much about it in the MSM:

QAMISHLI, Syria — Bilingual signs, “Western Kurdistan” (Rojava in Kurdish) on car license plates, Kurdish security forces (Asayish), Kurdish courts, municipalities, flags, unions and schools teaching Kurdish. This is the new look of the Kurdish-majority Syrian northern regions...

Is Johnny still blocking a permanent investigative committee on Benghazi?

He's determined to help Clinton...

The GOP are un-friggin-believable.

He needs to be fired.

there was a notorious prison a very short distance away from where the U.S embassy was.
are you saying a possible xe/blackwater version of 'fast and furious' was handing guns out, too?
you have tons of guns, a solicitation of al-Qaeda "fellow travelers" and people being worked
over once again by the "powers that be" in a short few blocks, as things are also international?

Warlord, we see John Kerry being semi~snubbed in Moscow by Putin as the big gut punch Ms. Hillary took for the Obama/Biden team plays out.
is Hillary willing to toss the proverbial "hot potatoe" back and forth between her and our sitting POTUS so as to slow down any impeachment talk?
if she eventually takes 100% responsibility for the security gap big enuff to run an oil tanker thru, we presume the Democrats will run Joe Biden.

No "select committee" announced yet, but investigation will continue

Boehner did not announce a select committee, but did say, "Congress will continue to investigate this issue using all the resources at our disposal", so it can still happen.

I transcribed Boehner's words pertaining to Benghazi - believe this to be accurate or 99.99% so.

Boehner on Benghazi - Thursday morning, 5/9/13:
I hope you all tuned into yesterday's hearing on the tragedy in Benghazi.

We learned that on September 12, the day after the attacks and 4 days before Susan Rice's TV appearance, a senior State Department official emailed her superiors to relay that the Libyan Ambassador... she had told the Libyan ambassador - that the attack was conducted by Islamic terrorists. The State Department would not allow our committees to keep copies of the email when it was reviewed. I would call on the President to order the State Department to release this email so the American people can see it.

We also know that the White House continues to claim it only made stylistic changes to the talking points used by Susan Rice, ignoring the fact that senior White House officials directed the changes being made to those talking points.

Our committee's interim report quotes specific emails where the White House and the State Department insisted on removing all references to the terrorist attacks to protect the State Department from criticism for providing inadequate security.

While a few of our members were able to review these emails, they were not allowed to share them with others. I would call on the president to to release these unclassified interagency emails so that the American people can see them.

Last November the president said, and I'll quote, he "would be happy to cooperate with the congress in anyway the congress wants."

This is his chance to show his cooperation so we can get to the truth of what happened in Benghazi. Four Americans lost their lives in the attack and Congress will continue to investigate this issue using all the resources at our disposal.

Gesus, you couldn't write a script more horrifying on the sociopathic monster, Hillary Clinton... while the Benghazi whistle-blower hearing, the elitists liberal club partied in LALA land with communist mayor Villaraigosa, honoring Hillary Clinton with distinction of Public Service/International affairs.

Hillary Clinton Accepts Public Service Award In Beverly Hills
http://losangeles.cbslocal.com/2013...ccepts-public-service-award-in-beverly-hills/
BEVERLY HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton arrived at a Beverly Hills gala to much fanfare on Wednesday as she prepared to accept an award for her public service.

Local volunteers from a national organization called “Ready for Hillary 2016″ were organized outside the Beverly Wilshire hotel, where the Pacific Council on International Policy would be honoring the secretary.
The Council awarded Clinton with the inaugural Warren Christopher Public Service Award, named after the former secretary of state who served under her husband, former President Bill Clinton, from 1993 to 1996.
A lawyer and decorated diplomat, Christopher died in 2011 at the age of 85, having also served as deputy secretary of state during the Carter administration.
He had also been awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor, in 1981 for his role in negotiating the release of 52 American hostages held in Iran.
The award in his name honors “the public service of others whose work reflects his distinctive leadership qualities,” according to the Pacific Council, which considers itself “the premier international affairs organization focused on policy issues of special resonance to the West Coast”, according to its website.
The gala happened the same day members of Congress are investigating a deadly attack on an embassy in Libya. Dramatic testimony about the Benghazi massacre last September, including criticism of how it was handled by Clinton and the Obama administration, was underway in Washington, D.C.
Clinton made no mention of that in Beverly Hills, and thanked Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa while taking the stage.
In her remarks she addressed, among other things, the crackdown on international cyber threats.
“The majority of cyber threats that are attacking military and civilian governmental assets as well as our private sector assets is originating from China,” Clinton said.
Clinton stepped down as secretary of state in February after four years of service under the Obama administration, making way for John Kerry.
It marks her first time as a private citizen in 20 years following her service as first lady, senator and a failed bid to win the Democratic nomination for president in 2008 which led to her appointment as secretary of state.
She has yet to state definitively whether she plans to run for president in 2016.

Boehner is going to have to give in. Each new revelation is adding to the pressure.

this was a tragedy, and the way the cover-up has unraveled reminds me of my college days in 1972 & 1973 during the height of the Watergate scandal

Coburn (member of Senate unIntelligent committee) says there's problems for the State dept:

-
Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) on Thursday warned that congressional hearings into Benghazi could create “real trouble” for the State Department and said there was a “glaring omission” in the information provided to lawmakers about the administration’s response to the deadly attack.

“I think the State Department has real trouble,” Coburn said in an interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” and suggested there was another show waiting to drop.

“Having sat on the Intelligence Committee and having seen the review of emails that went back and forth that developed the list, there’s a glaring problem there that will eventually come out, and I can’t talk about it now, but there was an omission that was given to the Intelligence Committee,” he said.

Coburn was pressed by the show’s hosts to provide more details or clarification about the alleged “omission,” but repeatedly deferred.

“I cannot do that and keep my obligation – you know, I can’t talk about it, other to say that I think there was a glaring omission in terms of what was submitted to the Intelligence Committee,” he said.

The democracy is a sham. We just stuff ballot boxes.

Ahmed? His death was truly a boon for us and we took over his poppy fields.
