Washington (CNN)Ben Carson says he wouldn't use drones to kill undocumented immigrants -- but he'd order strikes on the caves used to transport people across the United States' southern border.

"There are caves that they utilize. Those caves can be eliminated. There are a number of possibilities -- that could be one of them," Carson told CNN's Jim Acosta Sunday on "State of the Union."

After the speech, the Wall Street Journal ran an editorial that practically begged Carson to run for president. Now he's speaking out on the issue of Obama's eligibility.
In an interview on Alan Colmes' Fox News radio show, the left-leaning Colmes suggested that it was racism against a black president that caused people to doubt his origins.

They grilled Carson on CNN about this. He says he was talking about surveillance. When pressed on it, he said that people would never be the target, it's just one possible way to destroy caves along the border.

Pretty stupid suggestion though.

This is why I'm not particularly worried about Carson actually getting the nomination, the guy has no idea what he's doing when it comes to stating his positions. He should have run for lower office before trying to become president, now he'll probably embarrass himself and probably not be able to become a senator or a governor for a while. I think this guy will be a total rerun of Herman Cain 2012 and he'll probably surge to the lead soon after Trump implodes.
