No treason, that is absurd. Our John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Patrick Henry were committed treason against the British Crown. Robert E Lee, Thomas Jackson, Judah Benjamin and Jeff Davis committed treason against the United States. Not that treason and secession are a bad thing, I think Secession/Treason against a corrupted centralized authority is an American tradition and was just in those cases.

Yes, I would rather be in a free society. Where I currently am is relatively free domestically, but horrible oppressive overseas. Being the smartest kid in special ed is nothing to be proud of, either. Slavery is still slavery.
