If y'all go live up north, count me out. No way am I going to freeze. I worked too hard all my life to finally get my dream home in the Blue Ridge Mountains (and we have a loggin trail that's cleared) to go live where it's cold all the time again. I grew up in Upstate NY, near Canada, and remember 30, 40 below 0. I'll live anywhere south -- Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, West Virginia sound good to me.

a. we do not want to be down wind of any nuclear fall out.
b. we want to be near the water, it provides options for leaving, and we are not surrounded by the rest of the nation. also, if food is scarce, we can fish.
c. it is near mexico - we may want to head south.
