Adam Kokesh: The next revolution leader?

Perhaps you can point a url link to my above post on his thread, but i'm not participating in it in anyway.

Read my last post where I clearly talk about how kind of a person he is. Sure he gets fiery on stage, he is making a speech and is passionate. When you met him face to face he is not like that at all. its not his normal demeanor. I think his sharp features, which he was born with and can't help, may contribute to your feelings towards him.
I say we can trust him 100% I don't believe he is violent.

You are probably right. I'll admit to judging him on his appearence as well, and I know that isn't really fair. I will reserve my judgement, but I still don't like the aggressive rethoric. He has passion that is for sure, I just can't shake the fear that he might explode some day, irrational as that may be, as I say it is more of a feeling then a rational argument.

Rephrased... I am sure you have done nothing wrong, so why won't you (waste all your time that could be better spent on real work) prove it to us.

I see this over and over again. Such tall poppy syndrome in the movement.

Well excuse me, but I don't see the merit in leaving a thread out there to fester which gives a wrong impression of the entire situation.

Okay, I will.

I think it gives him more power when his accusation is just allowed to hang around spawning page after page of specuation.

You may be right... but i think it only lingers because it is perpetuated by people who have no understanding of the situation. Just like you and others are doing in this thread today. How many of those posting in this thread really know Adam and his heart? How many of you know his situation? none.

Now go and look at all the new post threads, look at all the threads people are using to smear the CFL and those that support it. How many of those people really know what is going on.... I know I do, I'm a state coordinator. The people perpetuating those threads are the same people perpetuating other negative threads. Maybe people should start connecting the dots.

In a way, it should be a lesson for those who were working up the hysteria. At least I got to see who are the cannibals amongst us.

Whoa, am I a cannibal?

Hey, being a women I can relate! lol I for one find him and how he speaks wildly attractive which may get in the way of me being rational. :D
Anyway, I was amazed on how calm he is off the stage. He is not arrogant as far as I could tell which is really good especially if he does have to take a leadership position.
I guess we all have certain feelings towards different personalities. No worries.

No, because the pros of having more people click an available link (people are lazy) far outweigh any potential penalty of having DIGG lessen the effectiveness of people's DIGGs because they have the same referrer.

I've added the DIGG link to the OP.

Thanks RPV...

I did the same thing once and someone chewed my ass so i assumed its bad to post the link unbroken.... We need more threads and info about this guy, Ive watched his utube videos for some time now but never thought he would be a great spear in the C4L. He is truly one of a few in this movement and he doesn't get the credit he diserves....

This guy impresses me. A lot.

DIGG the article here.

Watch his speech at the Rally for the Republic here.

I think we ought to reach out to him and ask him is he needs anything.

A bit of a hot-head, indeed, but perhaps that's exactly what we need for this time.

I don't know enough about him to say I am 100% behind him but I sure like what I am seeing so far.

PS. The title of this thread is the title of the article I linked to, not my own suggestion. I have no desire to replace Ron Paul as this movements leader/champion. But we need all kinds of individuals working together for one purpose here, otherwise we end up in collectivism all over again. I think we need to befriend Adam a lot more than we have been.

I've heard him speak several times. I'd back him in the political arena. He is DEFINITELY our kind of guy and if you REALLY want to hear him at his best - check out his video from the March on Washington.

we dont need any damn leaders, what are we, lemmings?

Anarchy doesn't work. Every movement needs a voice - that one person who will be the face of the revolution. Ron Paul is currently that man, but someone will have to take his place to keep it going. I had always hoped it would be Rand Paul.

I have thought of Adam Kokesh as a leader since I first heard him. People do need strong leaders. Just ask New Orleans, where our current mayor is about as useful as dung. People live, but the government steals consistently from the people. At least our governor was planning for Gustav while our mayor had to fly back from Denver just for the inconvenience.

I hope Kokesh would get into politics. I'm not insulted by his strong language, as some of you say you are. This is the 21st Century. We need people to spew reality to everyone, and he can make people understand things that they wouldn't understand if told without strong language. I have had to translate things myself to "New Orleans" language here so I could make people understand it.

So there seems to be good consensus here. I am going to try and contact him and just left him know that we'd like to hear more from him and how we as a forum might be able to help him in any way. Ok with everyone?

And I don't have his contact details, so if someone knows him...

He is currently attending George Washington University in political management or something or the other, it's the best in the nation for political training i hear.

then go to New Mexico and run as a libertarian, not the best course of action I believe. I think like Paul, take over the party.
