Yes, I also heard that it was rented to them. It sounds like the police chief isn't fully informed on investigation or he's purposefully withholding, understandably I suppose. He did reveal that the shooting came about from following a "focus area" of investigation that involved investigating a specific address, which led to chase and officer involved shooting.

So "someone" in this case has suspect names, and perhaps reporter sources have linked correct ones, but they aren't making them public yet. Chief basically stating facts on the ground, and nothing about status of investigation. FBI guy simply said investigation is fluid and involves multiple cities.

14 people shot, more than that injured and media owners employees are still not sure if it is "terrorism".. why are they not calling it "terrorism"?

Are they going to do a race/religion check before deciding what to call it as they did in this case apparently.

Looks like police are saying one suspect (and they said suspects are dead) is Syed Farook who worked for County Health Department which was related to the venue and was an American citizen.

So just like France, it was a national. If Jihadist, then they were radicalized. A lot of twitterers saying this will be spun as "workplace violence" rather than terror, but I'm still not sure. The pipe bomb and explosive claims seem too elaborate for that, plus multiple shooters makes that less likely as well.

Radicalized in place is my guess.

One suspect's name is Syed Farook, sources say
Two law enforcement sources identified one of the suspects in the San Bernardino shooting as Syed Farook.

According to public records, a Syed R. Farook worked as an environmental health specialist for San Bernardino County. It's unclear whether that is the same person connected to the attack. The shooting occurred at an event for the county's public health department.

Two other federal law enforcement sources, while not revealing the name of the suspect they were referring to, said he was an American citizen.

Been going on for awhile now.

Reports ranging from 1 to 3 shooters, long rifles, body armor, masks.

Some reports say 25 victims, unconfirmed.

CNN reports 14 confirmed dead, many more wounded.

We need more gun control.
