AC360 CNN - Bashing Ron

Bush guy is total incorrect - he said RP got his highest percent in Iowa in 2008. That's not true.

-They claim Ron Paul wrote some of the pieces.

-Playing the Gloria Borger interview.

-Saying its unclear what kind of relationship Ron Paul had with the editorial.

-Redstate.com editor claims Ron Paul supporters put his address and phone number on a Neo-Nazi website.

-Claims Ron Paul received donations from Neo-Nazi's

-Ron Paul is a fringe candidate

You know what? I do believe this will have little bearing on the Iowa result. But it may be a concern for other States if they continue lying about the newsletters and Ron doesn't find a good way of dealing with the interviews. He needs to sit down with his team and come up with a strategy for dealing with the newsletters effectively in the shortest time possible, because the media will be relentless in their attack.

They are saying that Ron Paul said he actually wrote them

WTF that is wrong.

And replay of Borger interview.

some are pretending that an early interview in the 90s before he knew what they said where he said he'd written SOME was a statement he had written them.

- Worried Paul winning will tarnish the image of the GOP

Borger- A little conflict. On one hand he says he read them on another, he says he didnt, so it is unclear of the editorial relationship. He clearly doesn't want to talk about it.

Erickson - Nobody took him seriously back then. He is the front runner of Iowa. We can scrutinize him on many things. His supporters put my home address and phone numbers on a neo nazi website. We can ask Ron Paul why he allowed these websites to fundraise for him. Explain why he said isrealis set up a concentation camp in Gaza. We can attack him.

Fleischer - If he does win Iowa, Romney is going to be cheering too cuz he will be propelled forward. Iowa is a small 120,000 people energized. Thats what propels his candidacy. I think he is a fringe candidate, and does not represent the Republkican party. I am concerned about his image. His numbers everywhere else are very low. Iowa is his high water mark. He plunges from here on.

Erickson - Newsletters written in first person. Blood donations had AIDs given to heterosexual people. Obama had to defend against Jeremiah Wright.

Gupta - To be clear, RP has disavowed all those comments. What does this new emergent stuff mean to Iowa now

Borger - Establishment Republians say Iowa is completelt irrelevant if RP wins. It then becomes who is in second. But this is not the message GOP wants to be sending. A message that resnoates here is the message of anti washington, anti big government, anti debt, anti deficit, and it works with voters in Iowa, so there is a real connection with voters in Iowa.

Have they checked everyone else's donor lists to make sure no one else got money from neo Nazis? Because they have to donate to others, too....
