Borger- A little conflict. On one hand he says he read them on another, he says he didnt, so it is unclear of the editorial relationship. He clearly doesn't want to talk about it.
Erickson - Nobody took him seriously back then. He is the front runner of Iowa. We can scrutinize him on many things. His supporters put my home address and phone numbers on a neo nazi website. We can ask Ron Paul why he allowed these websites to fundraise for him. Explain why he said isrealis set up a concentation camp in Gaza. We can attack him.
Fleischer - If he does win Iowa, Romney is going to be cheering too cuz he will be propelled forward. Iowa is a small 120,000 people energized. Thats what propels his candidacy. I think he is a fringe candidate, and does not represent the Republkican party. I am concerned about his image. His numbers everywhere else are very low. Iowa is his high water mark. He plunges from here on.
Erickson - Newsletters written in first person. Blood donations had AIDs given to heterosexual people. Obama had to defend against Jeremiah Wright.
Gupta - To be clear, RP has disavowed all those comments. What does this new emergent stuff mean to Iowa now
Borger - Establishment Republians say Iowa is completelt irrelevant if RP wins. It then becomes who is in second. But this is not the message GOP wants to be sending. A message that resnoates here is the message of anti washington, anti big government, anti debt, anti deficit, and it works with voters in Iowa, so there is a real connection with voters in Iowa.
